Job Description

1. Participate in ongoing research related to quantitative genetics and tree adaptability
2. Contribute to increased understanding of how to adapt forest plant breeding to climate change Plan and conduct trials
3. Develop and carry out statistical analyzes of phenotypic data to increase the precision of breeding value calculations, and facilitate quantitative understanding of genomic analyzes
4. Develop tools that simplify the forest manager’s choice of optimal rejuvenation material
5. Develop tools that simplify forest plant breeders’ tasks, including the development and operation of databases and associated user interfaces.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Agro-forestry

    3 Years of relevant experience

  • Master’s Degree in Agriculture

    3 Years of relevant experience

  • PhD in Agriculture Sciences

    0 Year of relevant experience

  • Masters’ degree in Genetics

    3 Years of relevant experience

  • PHD in Genetics

    0 Year of relevant experience

  • PHD in agroforestry

    0 Year of relevant experience
