Good Neighbors would like to recruit staff with the following positions:

1.Community Capacity Building Coordinator (1 person)	To be based in Head Office
General Support community building for cooperatives and income-generating groups under Good Neighbors Rwanda (GNR). Mainly the staff should work for the project funded by KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) in Kamonyi District. Detail Support the establishing structure and systems like confirming the article and the committees’ role and responsibility. Formation and Strengthening of Income generation Groups, Producer groups, and Community Level institutions and Facilitate community capacity building to promote and facilitate participatory development management for broad-based, equitable sustainable development. Empower the leader groups through regular meetings and training. Facilitate the exchange of information and experiences between income generation groups and cooperatives. Conduct the training for related staff in cooperatives/groups and GNR. Motivate the members to participate in activities through training and meetings. Support the planning and establishing the strategies. Monitor the activities of cooperatives/groups regularly. Review and audit the activities of cooperatives/groups regularly. Document and share lessons learned and best practices with networks Strengthening community groups to become the Cooperatives. Make the report and other administrative tasks related to the project on time. Participate in all activities for staff, like annual training and meetings in GNR.

Qualifications and experience required

The candidate must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (A0), Fields of rural development, agriculture, social science, or related fields, with at least 3 years’ experience;
Fluent in Kinyarwanda and English;
Proven experience in community mobilization. Having experience in agriculture and/or rural development projects will be preferred
Aptitude for working with the rural community, youth and women groups,
Strong interpersonal, organizational, conflict resolution, and communication skills
Good computer (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and report writing skills.
Honest and transparent
Good communication and interpersonal skills

General Support agro-business activities for cooperatives and income-generating groups under Good Neighbors Rwanda (GNR). (3) CSC reserves the rights to decide the host university for scholarship recipients with multiple offers. Each scholarship recipient—even when admitted by multiple universities—will be granted no more than one scholarship.

(4) The CSC reviews eligibility and qualifications of nominated candidates, approves the List of Scholarship Recipients, and sends the admission documents to Hebut before June 30th. Hebut sends the admission documents (List of Scholarship Recipients, Admission Letter and Visa Application Form for Study in China (JW201)) to scholarship recipients

Master’s Scholarships at University of Reading 2021-Apply Now

The University of Reading provides an extensive range of scholarships to master’s students. Some awards are offered directly by the University, others are allocated to our students by external funding bodies and a few are jointly funded.

The University of Reading’s Master’s Scholarships Scheme offers two funding opportunities:

scholarships that are centrally-funded and for which all master’s students are eligible (General Scholarships)
scholarships provided by our schools and which are course-specific (Subject Scholarships).

Students can usually be considered for both types of award. Successful candidates may be offered one or both of these scholarships.

Scholarship guidelines:

In order to apply, a candidate must have received an offer of admission to one our master’s courses.
These scholarships take the form of a tuition fee reduction.
Study may be on a full-time or part-time basis but flexible learning (modular) master’s courses are excluded.
There are two types of scholarships – those for international students and those for UK/Republic of Ireland students, whose tuition fees are ordinarily lower.
Tuition fees are confirmed when an offer of admission is made.
Scholarships are awarded primarily on the basis of previous academic accomplishment.

Full terms and conditions are provided with the application form and in submitting a scholarship application the candidate is deemed to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions.

GENERAL SCHOLARSHIPS

The University has allocated £200,000 in partial scholarships for students commencing their master’s degree studies in the 2021/22 academic year. The value of awards is as follows:

UK/Republic of Ireland students – £2,000 each
International students – £4,000 each.

Applications are open now and will close on 20 July 2021.

SUBJECT SCHOLARSHIPS

The Schools featured here are offering partial scholarships for students studying the courses listed in the 2021/22 academic year. Scholarships are awarded in two rounds. The value of awards is as follows:

UK/Republic of Ireland students – £2,000 each
International students – £4,000 each

Round one reviews applications received by 1 March and round two will consider applications received by 15 June. Candidates unsuccessful in round one automatically go forward for consideration in round two, provided they still hold a valid offer of admission to an eligible course. Applications are now open.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communication, Journalism or Marketing.
Demonstrate ability to think creatively and independently
Strong work ethic and motivation to succeed
Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail necessary to prioritize multiple initiatives and projects
Demonstrate a professional level of verbal, written, and listening skills in English and Kinyarwanda.
Ability to create and assemble attractive marketing materials
Having knowledge in Social media management (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube)
Having knowledge in Email Marketing and Event planning Using PPTX, Prezi, Word, PDF, Mail Chimp, Google Analytics, google forms, and Eventbrite.
Work well with a team.
Having knowledge in Photography, graphic design, and videography and able to use software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects
Having knowledge and ability to conduct an interview
Having Knowledge in film acting and Voice Over Recording.
Develop and implement strategic PR programs to achieve significant increases in brand awareness.

Job Purpose

This position involves supporting customers by providing helpful information, answering questions, and responding to complaints.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
Communicating with customers through various channels.
Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.
Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
Managing a team of junior customer service representatives.
Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.

Required Skills

Able Speak English and Kinyarwanda fluently
Be conversant in Microsoft office and google docs
Be enthusiastic and proactive
Have experience dealing with customer service
