Manage the development of training manual

 Coordinate all activities related to curriculum development and implementation and IBT scheme implementation

 Manage the adaptation and review of curricula in tourism training standards.

About the Role

The successful applicant for this role will be a commercially experienced individual with a proven ability to establish and manage networks, identify and drive new business opportunities, and achieve sales and revenue goals within a defined business line. This will involve realizing new business opportunities through partnerships with NGOs, institutions and cooperatives in Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for driving research & delivering intelligence that will inform proposition development for Alternative Channels including but not limited to MFI’s / Saccos and Institutional Business.
  • Set short and long-term channel strategies.
  • Build and manage a network of NGOs, Faith Based Organizations, Agricultural Organizations, Social Enterprises, or Saccos, MFIs and Chamaas, corporate and government sales.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators for new business including:
    • Closure of sales projects within approved timelines
    • Revenue realization per sales vertical
    • Relationship management
  • Responsible for developing & deploying business propositions to potential channel partners that will convert to revenue.
  • Overall responsibility to offer support to the district leads. This will involve preparing quotations, price negotiation documentation, and ultimately project /account management for our partnerships.
  • Ensure partner compliance with partner agreements.
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address partnership needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary stakeholders
  • Manage potential channel conflict with other sales verticals by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement




Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business administration; masters degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years experience in selling products in a B2B environment with a proven track record in sales, business development, and successful partner relationships
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy

1. Overall Mission

Reporting to the Programme Manager, the job holder overall mission is to ensure effective and efficient development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of CBM supported programmes in Rwanda.

2. Pre-Requisites

Education, Knowledge & Professional Experience

  • Relevant university degree in Social Sciences, Project Management, Development Studies, or related field.
  • Professional experience of 5 years in a national or international NGO, with a track record in successfully managing inclusive development and/or humanitarian programmes in collaboration with national partners.
  • Experience in managing institutionally funded projects, including consortium led projects.
  • Experience in evaluation and strengthening of quality and effectiveness systems.
  • Proven experience in results-based management and project cycle management, including assessment, monitoring, and evaluation, with a sound understanding of budgeting and programme finance management.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing internal and external relationships and partnerships particularly with national / local governments.
  • Experience in working with various government/bi-lateral/major institutional donors.

3. Main responsibilities

Project monitoring and Partner capacity building

  • Develop scheduled communication (verbal and written) with the partner regarding the status of implementation of project activities and act accordingly to help and facilitate the resolution of all problems as they may occur. All communications that are important should be documented in writing for reference.
  • Ensure that the partner project staff are properly oriented or trained for a clear and comprehensive understanding of the project.
  • Provide the partner with comprehensive understanding of CBM reporting systems for both programme and finance. Emphasis should be given to quality and accountability.
  • Conduct partner assessments and evaluations using agreed CBM standard tools in order to identify capacity and gaps and ensure findings and recommendations are implemented and monitored.
  • Organize and implement trainings to strengthen the capacity of partners to meet CBM expectations.
  • Provide constructive and quality feedback to partners if and when necessary.
  • Conduct monitoring visits, analyse results with relevant stakeholders and ensure appropriate action is taken.
  • Organize the visits of partner projects by CBM staff and donors.

Documentation

  • Record all results and analysis of project monitoring results/data that are stored at the project level by partners, with important/ strategic findings (lessons learned, best practices, evidence base) also stored at CBM office.
  • Share appropriately project data to be easily accessible for use in project evaluations as well as for evidence to be used in national level advocacy and alliance-building.
  • Ensure relevant new knowledge, project lessons learned and other learning are internalised, documented, and shared with relevant CBM colleagues and partners in the spirit of learning.

Quality Management

  • Ensure that processes and procedures organisationally and at individual project staff level, meet the project requirements for proper quality management and implementation of activities/interventions of the projects.
  • Ensure that principles and practice of disability inclusive development are woven through the design and implementation of the projects.

Achieving results

  • Develop contacts with as many as possible relevant external parties to develop network and alliances
  • Assist partners to plan and organise seminars exposing projects’ successes and positive results that are supported by evidence, inviting relevant district, provincial and national levels government offices and other players
  • Conduct scheduled evaluations and share results accordingly for advocacy purposes.

Additional responsibilities

  • Carry out role-specific responsibility to safeguard children and adults at risk (as guided by CBM’s respective policies) in programmes and enforce this with any colleagues and partners.

A. Supervise budget preparation and its execution
1. Supervise the preparation of the draft budget;
2. Monitor the annual operating budgets;
3. Control budget execution in compliance with the public finance
rules and procedures;

Human rights are under pressure in many places across the globe. Peaceful protests are violently quashed. Voting is tampered with. And minorities are often excluded from decision-making. All of this threatens the ideal of an open society in which each of us can be free and participate equally. A solid protection of human rights is needed for an open society to exist and to flourish. But it is often an uphill battle to work towards that ideal. Equip yourself and learn more about what human rights are and how they work.

In this course, we will introduce you to one of the world’s most intricate human rights systems: the European Convention on Human Rights. You will see when and how people can turn to the European Court of Human Rights to complain about human rights violations. You will learn how the Court tries to solve many of the difficult human rights dilemmas of today. We will look, amongst other things, at the freedom of expression and demonstration, the right to vote, and the prohibition of discrimination.

And we will address the rights of migrants, refugees, and other vulnerable groups. And, of course, we will see whether it is possible to restrict rights and if so under what conditions. City University of Hong Kong Scholarships for International Students 2022

CityU has an Entrance Scholarship Scheme for international students with excellent academic performance who are admitted to full-time government-funded bachelor’s degree programmes.

The Scheme offers three kinds of scholarships

Top Scholarships of HK$180,000 (approximately US$23,000), covering annual tuition fees, on-campus accommodation and living expenses

Full Tuition Scholarships, covering annual tuition fees (approximately US$18,000)

Half Tuition Scholarships, covering half of the annual tuition fees (approximately US$9,000).

Applicants do not have to apply for these scholarships. The appropriate level of scholarship is awarded based on merit. Beginning from the 2022-23 academic year, students who receive the scholarship are required to attain a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.4 or above each year throughout their period of study in order to renew the scholarship.

University of Trento Scholarship for Non-EU Students Living Italy

The amount of the tuition fees for NON EU applicants living abroad is related to the application score obtained during the selection, as follows:

Application score between 90 and 100: Full tuition waiver

Application score between 70 and 89,9: € 1.000

Application score between 60 and 69,9: € 3.000

Application score between 50 and 59,9: € 6.500

Tuition fees amount for the following years will be calculated according to the student’s performance (credits gained unitl August 10th each year). Detailed information on the renewal to the II year on the International website.

Scholarships for Non-Eu students living abroad

The University of Trento offers a limited number of scholarships for top scored Non-EU students living abroad applying for the Master in Innovation Management.

The scholarship will be awarded from the Evaluation Commitee according to the final ranking list and upon availability (no extra application required): 5 scholarships are available for Non-Eu applicants living abroad for the a.y. 2021-2022. The minimun application score for receiving the scholarship is >=70 points.

The yearly amount of the scholarship is 5.200 € and tuition fees are waived. Students entitled with the scholarship will be informed by the Master Manager when the acceptance to the Master will be notified.

The renewal of the scholarship for the second year depends on the number of credits earned by the student at the end of the first year (August 10th). Students who turn out to be in the “fee waiver” bracket are not necessarily entitled to receive a scholarship from the University of Trento. Tuition Fees and scholarships for EU Citizens and NON-EU citizens regularly living in Italy

Tuition Fees for Eu Citizens and Non-Eu citizens living abroad may range from 346€ to 3.345€. The final amount is related to the financial situation of your family calculated by an economic index called “ISEE Università”.

Information on the tuition fees and ISEE are available on Infostudenti. Please note that if you do not want to calculate the ISEE index, you will have to pay the maximum amount. Once the ISEE has been calculated, you can apply for the Opera Universitaria scholarship if you meet the requirements. The Call for applications is usually published in July.

Cost of living

Besides tuition fees you must be able to afford the average cost of living in Trento which is around € 600-700 per month. More information are available at the link Cost of living.
