JOB PURPOSE

The job holder will be responsible for coordinating travels when using the fleet and supporting the Administration and Logistics in coordinating the required documentation necessary, such as physical asset and inventory count, disposal of assets, and the Real Estate Asset Management system. The job holder will also be responsible for coordinating general cleanliness and hygiene of the Head Office and monitoring stores management reports. He/she will also update asset information in the system (REAM) to ensure compliance.

To support the Administration and Logistics Manager in coordinating Fleet and administrative roles, which include fuel management, fleet repairs and maintenance, preparation of car tracking & fleet system reports (FMS), coordination of timely renewal of all WV vehicles and motorcycle insurance, and yellow card registration and annual technical inspection.

– Coordinate staff travels through the online fleet management system to ensure efficient and effective use of vehicles and transportation services in support of program objectives.

– Enforce compliance with established road safety and fleet management policy and guidelines.

– Prepare monthly online fleet management reports and vehicle tracking system reports for review by Admin and Logistics Manager.

– Prepare monthly fuel management reconciliation report to be reviewed by Admin and Logistics Manager.

– Prepare and update the tracker for motor vehicles and motorcycles renewal and registration, Insurance, and vehicles technical inspection for review.

– Prepare the vehicle tracker reports every month,

-Supervise work towards promoting a sense of stewardship in fuel management, like combining trips, filling a full tank at the time of fuelling

– Coordinate fleet repairs and maintenance, and the cleanliness of vehicles.

– Review Invoices related to MV and MC repairs and maintenance for accuracy before approval by the admin and logistics manager.

– Ensure fleet logbooks are filled out well and accurately

-Ensure timely servicing of generators and are well-maintained

– Proper filing and documentation are in place for all vehicles and motorcycles insurance stickers, yellow cards, and Logbooks updated.

– Timely motor vehicles and motorcycles clearing, registration, and insurance in line with the WV vehicle policy.

We are looking for a technical leader with a talent for operational execution to oversee our agriculture-focused research and development (R&D) function. This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering our global R&D strategy, managing a growing team, planning and executing high-quality field research across multiple countries, and generating practical, scalable innovations for smallholder farmers. You will be a part of the Global Impact team and report directly to the Senior Director for R&D and Extension.   • Lead the development and execution of our global R&D strategy across early-stage discovery, field validation, and operational integration.
