Director of Quality Assurance Management Unit at Kibagabaga Level two Teaching Hospital will have the following Job Responsibilities but not limited to : 1. Coordinate hospital quality management system in quality services, research and education 2. Coordinate hospital national and international accreditation standards implementation 3.Monitor all work performed in the hospital to determine that reliable data are being generated; regarding quality services, education and research 4. Select and set quality indicators to monitor health quality services, research and education 5. Coordinate the Implementation of a safe hospital environment in compliance with good practice and applicable regulations; 6. KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Conduct a thorough inspection and assessment of the hospital’s current infrastructure, including structural integrity, and safety compliance.

Maintenance and Post-Project Support:

  • Develop maintenance plans to ensure longevity and functionality.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to assess success and identify improvement areas.

Technical Support and Advisory:

  • Provide expert advice and technical support to the hospital administration and project team throughout the renovation process.
  • Address any engineering challenges or unforeseen issues that may arise during construction.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering with IER Membership License, a Master’s Degree in project management is an added advantage.
  • With at least 7 years in Building construction on a managerial position.
  • Preferably with a specific experience in hospital building construction or renovation.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software or BIM tools.

About the Role

SUMMARY ROLE:

SNV Rwanda seeks an experienced and dynamic Deputy Program Manager for an anticipated program focused on youth entrepreneurship within agriculture value chains. The Youth Entrepreneurship in Agriculture – Rwanda (YEA-R) program aims to increase the resilience and quality of life for young women, men and persons with disabilities through dignified, fulfilling, and equitable work opportunities. As the Deputy Program Manager and reporting to the Program Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the PM in the day-to-day management of the program to ensure effective implementation, timely delivery of program outcomes, and development of strategies to enhance youth engagement in agripreneurship. Working closely with the PM, he/she will lead program teams in a variety of settings, acting as a support to the PM. The Deputy Program Manager will also be responsible for driving the overall learning strategy of the program, with a focus on knowledge development, uptake, and dissemination. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the leadership of the PM, the Deputy Project Manager’ s responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Project Management:

  • Support the PM to lead, manage, and motivate the program team, partners, and relevant stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Advisor to integrate learning activities into the program’s M&E framework, ensuring a continuous feedback loop.
  • Oversee the collection, synthesis, and documentation of best practices, case studies, success stories and lessons learned from program activities.
  • Forster a learning culture within the program by facilitating regular learning sessions, workshops and reflection meetings across program teams, partners and stakeholders.

JOB REQUIREMENT & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 6 years of professional experience in donor funded projects, including project management and knowledge development. A preference for experience in youth development, gender or business development.
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated, successful, professional experience in a senior role on a project.
  • Experience building M&E systems and ensuring utilization of project learnings in the project lifecycle.
  • Technical expert in business development, entrepreneurship with a bias in agricultural market systems and value chains, especially in horticulture and poultry value chains.
  • Excellent organizational skills are a must in order to keep up with the various demands and competing priorities of the program.
  • An extreme eye for detail is a must in preparing reports as well as organizing meetings with various stakeholders in the program.
  • Able to keep track of program priorities, commitments, and follow up with stakeholders.
  • A broad knowledge base of project/Programme management and hands-on experience with capacity building and institutional change as well as project leadership and good knowledge of aspects of fresh and processed agro-food sector, horticulture, poultry or flowers, and agricultural supply chains in Rwanda.
  • Experience in or exposure to project development and management at sector/systemic level, including horticultural, poultry / agricultural supply chain pilots and capacity building/institutional development.
  • Experience in partnership development, particularly at the sector level with Rwandan industry associations, policy makers and regulators. But preferably also with private sector partners / companies in Rwanda and project partners.
  • Experience building capacity of smallholder and emerging commercial producers is considered an asset.


SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda is a prerequisite. Moderate communication skills in French will be an added asset.

Le projet vise à atteindre le résultat ultime suivant : une jouissance accrue des droits de la personne relative à la santé par les détenteurs des droits les plus marginalisés et les plus vulnérables, en particulier les femmes, les adolescentes et les enfants. Il interviendra au niveau : i) du renforcement des capacités (formations) en SDSR aux intervenants communautaires, ii) des sensibilisations aux groupes diversifiés des femmes, des adolescents ainsi que des sensibilisations au bénéfice du large public, iii) de l’amélioration de la prestation des services relatifs à la SDSR en faveur des groupes cibles.

En outre, une Clinique Spécialisée Karame est établie au Siège du Réseau des Femmes à Kinyinya, la Clinique sert entre autre pour le dépistage et le traitement des infections sexuellement transmissibles (IST), suivis de grossesse avec attention particulière aux mères adolescentes et mères vulnérables, prévention et traitement des IST, effectuer la planification familiale….

Profile, qualification et compétence technique du candidat

Rôles et Responsabilités du poste

  1. Accueillir la clientèle et offrir le counseling aux clients avant le dépistage des maladies sexuellement transmissible y compris le VIH Sida et fournir un accompagnement approprié aux victimes d’avortement non sécurisé, victimes de VBG et violence sexuelle,…
  2. Contribuer dans l’élaboration des outils de sensibilisation, organiser et animer les campagnes de sensibilisation sur la Santé et Droits Sexuels et Reproductifs y compris la célébration des journées internationales sur SDSR ;
  3. Coordonner le processus de collecte et la compilation des données, faire des analyses et des interprétations y relatives et produire les rapports périodique ainsi que les histoires de succès de la période du rapport ;

Il interviendra au niveau : i) du renforcement des capacités (formations) en SDSR aux intervenants communautaires, ii) des sensibilisations aux groupes diversifiés des femmes, des adolescents ainsi que des sensibilisations au bénéfice du large public, iii) de l’amélioration de la prestation des services relatifs à la SDSR en faveur des groupes cibles.

En outre, une Clinique Spécialisée Karame est établie au Siège du Réseau des Femmes à Kinyinya, la Clinique sert entre autre pour le dépistage et le traitement des infections sexuellement transmissibles (IST), suivis de grossesse avec attention particulière aux mères adolescentes et mères vulnérables, prévention et traitement des IST, effectuer la planification familiale….

Rôles et Responsabilités du poste

  1. Etre responsable des services de la Clinique Spécialisée Karame entre autre le dépistage et traitement des infections sexuellement transmissibles (IST), suivis de grossesse avec attention particulière aux mères adolescentes et mères vulnérables, prévention des IST et déterminer les techniques et la position appropriées pour effectuer la planification familiale etc ;
  2. Offrir un service à la clientèle de qualité et assurer la satisfaction des patients et référer la clientèle aux autres établissements de santé au besoin ;
  3. Donner des conseils aux dirigeants de l’organisation concernant les matériels et les équipements nécessaires pour le bon fonctionnement de la Clinique Spécialisée Karame ;
  4. Appuyer l’équipe du projet SDSR dans la production et la mise à jour des programmes et de service lié en Santé et Droit Sexuel et Reproductif ;
  5. Veiller au respect des normes médicales, à l’intégration des bonnes pratiques professionnelles de toute l’équipe de la Clinique Spécialisée Karame ;
  6. Accompagner le Reseau des Femmes dans les réunions de plaidoyer et de sensibilisation sur les droits en Santé Sexuelle et Reproductive ;
  7. Analyser et certifier les documents guides de la Clinique Spécialisée Karame produit par l’équipe du projet SDSR ;
  8. Assurer le respect de la politique, des directives et des normes de santé et de sécurité de la Clinique Spécialisée Karame et de services en SDSR.
  9. Analyser et dégager les recommandations portant sur la durabilité et l’extension des services de la Clinique Spécialisée Karame ;
  10. Renforcer les capacités de l’équipe du projet SDSR dans le cadre de la santé sexuel et Reproductif
  11. Adhérer à la mission et à la vision du Ministère de la Santé sur la santé reproductive ;

Expériences, exigences, connaissances et compétences

  1. Possession d’un diplôme d’études universitaires en gynécologie ;

  3. Expérience de travail dans les services liés à la violence sexuelle

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Partnership and Resource Mobilisation Specialist is responsible for leading the development and maintenance of strategic donor partnerships to support programming in line with Right To Play’s mission and vision. We are looking for an experienced and well-connected advisor focused on strategic partnerships who can draw upon excellent knowledge of the donor community and funding architecture across 3 countries (Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda).

You will support Right To Play (RTP) country teams to profile/position RTP and contribute towards the development of RTP programs through strategic fundraising and engagement. Therefore, you will work closely with Country Directors and coordinate with relevant global support teams. It will contribute to increasing RTP’s partnership portfolio in East Africa and help build stronger funding relationships in specific countries where RTP is delivering programming.

Regular travel is required to support donor engagement across Ethiopia, Rwanda and Uganda, with some occasionally in the wider East Africa region and to the Global Offices


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

#1: Strategic Position & Planning (40% of Time):

  • Identify, build and maintain relationships with potential donors in East Africa in cooperation with country teams and global support teams.
  • Develop donor engagement plans and build knowledge on and relationships with key donors in the East Africa region, including but not limited to Ethiopia, Uganda and Rwanda, and/or interested in funding RTP programming on the African continent.
  • Observe donor strategies and priorities at country/regional level and monitor opportunities to anticipate calls for proposals and identify bidding opportunities.
  • Undertake proactive intelligence gathering, by monitoring relevant trends in donor and partner organisations and relevant platforms and by tracking changes in donor policies that could impact current or future funding opportunities.
  • Provide business development expertise in positioning, capture planning and proposal preparation for specific opportunities with institutional donors (government and inter-governmental award issuing organizations), as well as foundations and non-governmental organizations.
  • Coordinate with RTP leadership the strategic direction, business development strategy and efforts to meet annual growth targets and support the diversification of revenue

#2: Networking and Relationship Building (35% of Time):

  • Develop active and quality working relationships and make requisite connections with country teams, donors and strategic partners in select countries and identify potential funding partners.
  • Strategically support and prepare RTP country leadership for partner and prospect meetings, including preparation of agendas, materials, key messages, and follow-up.
  • In collaboration with Country Office teams, represent RTP in relevant external meetings and working groups in the region to increase RTP’s visibility and allow for information gathering on funding opportunities.
  • Promote RTP’s technical positioning, approaches, know-how and skills within relevant networks with a view to developing suitable partnerships that can unlock funding opportunities in alignment with global and country strategic plans.
  • Support and mentor key Country Office senior management teams to cultivate and strengthen institutional relationships with institutional donors, partner organizations and other stakeholders.


#3: Resource mobilisation capacity building (20% of Time):

  • Work closely with teams across select Country Offices, the Global Program Partnership team and the Program Quality & Impact team to coordinate proposal and budget development processes to ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals.
  • Identify capacity building needs related to resource mobilisation, project design, and partnership development within the region and help deliver initiatives to address these identified capacity building requirements.
  • Provide opportunities for sharing of resource mobilisation and fundraising knowledge, best practice, lessons-learned across other RTP countries and relevant global support teams
  • In collaboration with Country Office teams, identify, build and maintain partnerships with partners that have the most potential for collaboration on achieving shared goals and objectives and joint resource mobilisation.

#4: Performs Other Duties as Assigned (5% of Time)

WHAT YOU’LL BRING (ESSENTIAL):

EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION:

  • Undergraduate degree in International Development, Political Science, International Relations or related field

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10 years’ work experience in partnership development with institutional donors in the Africa region
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated experience on partnerships with: European Commission, USG (including USAID), FCDO, SIDA, ECW, BMZ/GFFO, and UN agencies
  • Familiarity with key actors in East Africa and demonstrated experience in developing, building and maintain strategic partnerships with these actors
  • Experience working with local partners
  • Experience of resource mobilisation/fund-raising competency and capacity building including facilitating learning, coaching, and supporting learning across multiple stakeholders

About the Role

As a payment approver, you will ensure smooth financial operations by reviewing and approving payments, addressing issues, and driving process improvements. Community and Family based support specialist at Natioanl child development agency ( NCD) Under Contract: Deadline: Oct 22, 2024

Job responsibilities

• Work closely with service providers to ensure the development of a comprehensive model for family tracing • Support the district staff, partner organizations, and Programme stakeholders to identify alternative care options for children • organize and report on the training of prospective caregivers • Coordinate Programme partners for the effective provision of consistent tailored reintegration packages and support services for children and families • Ensure strong linkages between children and their families and existing social protection schemes and mechanisms • Initiate and support the establishment of partnership mechanisms between the public and private sector for the provision of alternative care services


• Provide support in the identification and training of community childcare workers • Support in the establishment of prevention mechanisms for child abandonment, child institutionalization, and child protection at the community level • Provide technical support to District Social Workforce and community childcare workers to plan, deliver, and monitor psychosocial support and other types of support at the community level. • Support the development of technical publications, reports, communication material, and other program documentation. • Provide technical assistance and facilitate the transformation process of institutions into alternative facilities including community-based services for children and families • Assist the programme team in developing and reviewing monthly plans and priorities • Coordinate field-related activities, trainings, and other workshops for the team. • Organize and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual Programme Coordination meetings and ensure the timely preparation of annual program status reports.


• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on program implementation, progress, and impact. • Participate in information exchange with development partners, stakeholders and media visits as well as in the development of training and orientation materials. • Organize documentation of case studies demonstrating successful program interventions and outcomes. • Contribute to building and maintaining multi-disciplinary working relationships, strategic and operational partnership with health, social protection and education sectors, local government, Police and civil society to ensure that multi-organization work maximizes the impact of frontline service delivery. • Contributes to Develop partnerships and collaboration with internal and external counterparts in order to exchange information on programme status and implementation.


• Contribute to maintaining a strong collaboration with Programme partners, Districts, Children’s center managers, and other relevant program stakeholders to establish and maintain sound internal controls supportive of programming endeavors and to coordinate financial and supply management requirements and accountability. • Plan, develop and implement program activities by collaborating with the program stakeholders and providing leadership in the provision of technical advice, negotiation, and advocacy leading to agreement on practicable and priority actions of the TMM program • Provide supportive supervision to the child protection and Welfare officers on the operationalization of the CP Case management framework. • Support and supervision of the friends of the Family in the implementation of their roles and responsibilities in the community • Organize and conduct the training for Friends of family across the country.

Job responsibilities

• Coordinating and overseeing the caseload of children and families referred to the child protection case management system at the national level and ensuring that cases are properly documented, tracking progress towards case plan goals, and ensuring that families receive the services they need; • Work in close collaboration with Child Protection and Welfare officers, local leaders, partners, and community child protection structures that will support case management, child abuse prevention, and response services. • Provide technical support for partnership management for Child Protection implementing partners related to child protection- including capacity building, management, implementation, monitoring, reporting, evaluation, and quality assurance • Developing and implementing case management systems and procedures tailored to the needs of children. • Monitoring progress in the Child Protection Case Management Information Management System (PCIMS), providing ongoing support, and adjusting plans as necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of children. • Conduct child protection case management and provide proper integrated services • Coordinating with other professionals and agencies involved in child protection case management, including law enforcement, social services, healthcare providers, teachers, and NGOs. • Participating in case conferences, multidisciplinary teams, and interagency collaborations to ensure coordinated and holistic support for children and families. • Building and maintaining partnerships with community organizations and service providers to enhance the availability and accessibility of child protection services. • Maintaining accurate and confidential records of assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes for each child. • Document all interactions, decisions, and actions taken in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and child protection policies. • Generating reports and statistics for monitoring and evaluation purposes, as well as for compliance with reporting requirements. • Participate in Coordination meetings and ensure the timely preparation of annual program status reports; • Building the capacity of child protection frontline workers and community members to recognize and respond to child protection concerns effectively. • Contributing to the development and improvement of child protection policies, procedures, and programs at the national and local levels.
