1. Perform Verification/type approval/ metrological controls of Taxi/Auto meters and timers 2. Ensure the measurement traceability of taximeter verification standards are maintained 3. Ensure fee allocated to verification activities is deposit as per the procedure in place 4. Conduct activities under legal metrology such as metrological controls, verification and initiate the necessary follow up actions. 5. Provide report to direct supervisor on work performed and matters affecting the work of the unit and the general execution of activities. 6. Complete and maintaining records of activities conducted daily. 7. Maintain the Quality Management System of the laboratory and other standard by conducting activities in accordance RS 438:2021 and procedures 8. Implement the law governing metrology in Rwanda, ministerial orders, regulations and other applicable laws 9. Account for monthly revenue generated from the execution of laboratory activities in the field pre-packaged commodities in number, length and area controls 10. Maintain the laboratory in a tidy and organised manner at all times. 11. Perform any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the direct supervisor and any other duly authorised person. 12.
