BIRUNGA SACCO MUSANZE is a District Savings and Credit Cooperative (D-SACCO) established following the consolidation of 15 U-SACCOs operating within MUSANZE District, in accordance with the Government of Rwanda SACCO’s consolidation framework.

BIRUNGA SACCO MUSANZE is looking for qualified, competent, committed, proactive and self-motivated individual to occupy the following positions at Head office and Branch level:

Position: IT Officer Hardware and Software

Number: 1

Main Responsibilities of IT Officer Hardware and Software

Under the supervision and guidance of IT Operator with reporting line to the Head of operations, the IT Officer Hardware and Software has the following main responsibilities:

1. To work diligently on the assigned work on time and to produce results;
2.  To comply with the instructions of the employer or his/her representative;
3. To take good care of and manage the equipment assigned to him/her in his/her work;
4. To be at work and respect working days and hours;
5. To maintain the confidentiality of work;
6.  To provide basic identification documents before starting work;
7. To follow the principles and codes of conduct governing the business activities of the Cooperative;
8. First line support for all computer and related hardware components for all branch staff at headquarter, branches and outlets;
9. Responds in a timely manner to service issues and requests;
10. Reviews vendor contracts and coordinates IT hardware purchases;
11. Ensures proper maintenance of computers peripherals, printer and all other hardware;
12. Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems;
13. Any other duty that does not conflict with the laws and regulations as requested by the Head of Operations or his/her superior authority.
    
    
    
    

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in IT/MIS.
2. Minimum one-year working experience in IT/Network field for MFIs/Banks.
3. Good skills in installation and maintenance of computer and related hardware equipment.
4. Good integrity, positive attitude, helpful, high commitment, competence and motivation.
5. Willing to travel to responsible branches and outlets
