About the Role

Our client, a leading international automotive and mobility organisation, is seeking a commercially driven SSA Sales Manager – East Africa to support sales growth, partner performance and market development across the East African region.

The role will focus on strengthening relationships with business partners, identifying growth opportunities, improving sales performance and ensuring that commercial strategies respond effectively to changing market and customer requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support sales strategies for the East African market.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to achieve and exceed commercial targets.
  • Work closely with business partners and distributors to develop and implement business plans.
  • Analyse market trends, customer preferences and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Economics, Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, business development, key account management or a related commercial role.
  • Experience in the automotive industry or another complex, partner-driven industry would be highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience managing business partners, distributors, dealers or strategic clients.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance management and commercial planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic-thinking capabilities.
  • Strong customer orientation and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and reporting skills.

  • Strong understanding of automotive aftersales operations and performance management.
  • Experience working with dealers, distributors, business partners or large customer organisations.
  • Regional East African experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage and improve operational performance.
  • Excellent relationship-management and communication skills.

About the Role

Our client, a leading international automotive and mobility organisation, is seeking a Mobility Manager – North Africa to identify, develop and implement new mobility opportunities across the region.

The role will focus on developing mobility products, establishing strategic partnerships and building an integrated mobility value chain covering mobility services, vehicle utilisation, used-car opportunities and digital services.

The successful candidate will be commercially driven, entrepreneurial and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Explore and analyse new mobility opportunities across North Africa.
  • Assess the commercial viability of potential mobility products and prepare recommendations for management.
  • Initiate and support the development of new mobility solutions.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships, with particular focus on:
    • Airports and airport-related services
    • Tourism operators
    • Corporate clients
    • Other strategic mobility partners
  • Develop an integrated mobility value chain covering mobility products, vehicle utilisation, used-vehicle opportunities and digital services.
  • Analyse regional market preferences and customer requirements.
  • Provide recommendations on vehicle models, specifications and equipment levels based on local market needs.
  • Analyse customer feedback and coordinate the resolution of technical or service-related issues.
  • Identify commercial gaps and opportunities and develop action plans to address them.
  • Prepare proposals and business cases for partners and clients and negotiate agreements through to conclusion.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key partners and clients.
  • Promote the organisation’s mobility and automotive solutions to existing and prospective customers.
  • Review business plans and monitor progress against agreed objectives.
  • Provide strategic support to partners and clients to improve performance and sustainability.
  • Review client agreements, schedules, operating standards and procedures and identify areas of non-compliance or improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Logistics or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in one or more of the following:
    • Sales & Marketing
    • Business Development
    • Business or Financial Management
    • Market Intelligence
    • Tourism
    • Logistics
  • Working experience in Egypt is essential.
  • Regional North African experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience working with large corporate clients or strategic business partners.
  • Experience with a recognised international consulting firm or multinational organisation would be advantageous.
  • Fluency in Arabic is essential.
  • French proficiency would be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of business and financial principles.

The role will be responsible for monitoring application performance, identifying and coordinating the resolution of incidents, analysing user and system data, and working closely with technology, operations and development teams to ensure a reliable and user-friendly digital experience.

The successful candidate will combine technical understanding, analytical ability and strong customer focus to identify issues early, drive improvements and translate technical information into practical business insights.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the availability, stability and performance of the company’s digital mobility application.
  • Track key performance indicators including uptime, response times, error rates and system alerts.
  • Identify potential application issues and coordinate timely investigation and resolution.
  • Analyse recurring incidents and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, performance issues, troubleshooting activities and resolutions.
  • Monitor application logs and use data to identify trends, performance issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyse application performance data and recommend measures to improve stability, efficiency and user experience.
  • Coordinate with developers, QA, IT support and operations teams on application improvements and technical issues.

  • Experience working with B2C digital products or mobility services is highly desirable.
  • Experience with a multi-sided digital platform or technology-enabled business would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience gathering user requirements and monitoring applications or digital systems.
  • Experience with UX/UI for customer-facing digital applications.
  • Exposure to business process management, business intelligence, analytics, logging systems and incident management.
  • Good understanding of programming concepts, cloud services, databases and web applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical matters effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
