1. Programm Senior Accountant

  1. PROGRAM SENIOR ACCOUNTANT _ 1 POSITION

The focus of the job is on accurate and timely financial reporting, data analysis skills, proper documentation and filings for internal
and external stakeholder reporting. The Program Accountant will be expected to have high attention to financial details and data
analysis with confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:/Accountabilities

• Accurate and timely Reimbursements of incurred costs to branches through the Data Management Information
System (DMIS).
• Accurate documentation of financial transactions including among other fees payment to schools and stipend payments
for financial reporting to partners.
• Accurate documentation and proper bookkeeping to ensure accuracy on financial records.
• Financial reporting – ensure the organization’s financial transactions are accurately and timely prepared and submitted
(daily, weekly, monthly and/or annually) to the relevant stakeholders for decision making.
• Ensure all the necessary documentation required in reporting to partners is timely availed and scanned.
• Facilitate secure storage of all program documents, well referenced for ease of retrieval.
• Track and report any gaps in data captured in the system.
Data analysis on programs progress status.
• Any adhoc assignments as requested by Supervisor




Qualification, Experience, Skills and Attributes

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or business-related courses.
• An MBA in related field and professional courses like CPA or ACCA will be an added value.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in Finance/Accounting and use of MS Word, MS Excel, or MS Access.
• Computer literate Skills/Experience Required.
• Financial Management skills.
• Data analysis skills.

• Adaptability.

2. Senior Internal audit officer

The Internal Auditor will support the Head of Internal Audit department provide the assurance that the Bank has effective financial,
administrative and management systems and controls, adequate and effective risk management processes and ensure observance
of good corporate governance practices.

Internal Auditor conducts financial, operational and compliance audits and fuurnishes them with analyses, advice and
recommendations concerning risk management, control and governance processes

Key Responsibilities:/Accountabilities

• Conducting reviews from various Units/ Branches & ensure timely closure.
• Ensure Appropriate Audit Planning; Execution; documentation and timely reporting
• Providing support and guidance to management on how to handle new opportunities.
• Timely reporting of Audit Findings for management action
• Coordinate meetings with auditees to develop an understanding of business processes
• preparing reports to highlight issues and problems and distributing the reports to the relevant people and ensure
proper follow up
• Assessing compliance with Bank rules and regulations & informing management whether any issue needs to be addressed.
• Conducting Exit meetings and ensure suitable understanding of concerns to be addressed
• Test the operations and Credit procedures and support to the design adequate financial controls
• Improve customer care by initiating improvements to the financial control and auditing process
• Develop new audit programs to ensure adequate financial controls
• Plan internal client meetings and oversee financial disclosures
• Review and make recommendations on Systems, policies and Regulations.
• Create and update internal audit plan
• Any other work as assigned by the supervisor





Qualification, Experience, Skills and Attributes

• Bachelor’s Degree with completed or on-going professional qualification like ACCA, CPA OR CIA
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in auditing preferably in a financial institution or in an internationally accredited audit firm
• Broad knowledge of Banking
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Good report writing skills
• Knowledge of the full MS Office suite
• Excellent report writing, oral communication, logical and analytical skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of computer assisted audit techniques and Ms Office.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Open minded with the ability to learn in a dynamic environment,
• Good commercial awareness and knowledge on international best practice standards in financial reporting (IFRS),IIA Standards and corporate governance

3. Senior Relationship Officer Agency

The purpose of this job holder is to ensure the day- to-day agency banking activities are attended and promoted to the next Level

Key Responsibilities:/Accountabilities
• Delivering target and growth in agency recruitment.
• Ensuring proper agency activation and basic training are properly attended to and conduct regular visits and
training to agents.
• Managing agents’ materials and distribution timely.
• Managing agents’ relationships and ensure their complaints are sorted on time.
• Ensuring Bank tools are safely kept and monitored (POS, handsets) & provide needed support on repairs.
• Ensuring proper agents files appraisals.
• Ensuring proper and timely agents files.
• Ensuring Customer Satisfaction and retention.
• Ensuring 100% compliance to the Bank’s policy.

Promoting the Bank’s corporate image among Bank Agents.
• Any other duty assigned by the line manager.





Qualification, Experience, Skills and Attributes

• Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field.
• Minimum 2 years serving in banking Industry in related field.
• Thorough knowledge of banks policies & procedures.
• Good understanding of the banking industry.
• Proficient in the use of various Microsoft Office Applications.
• Comprehensive understanding of Relationship Management.
• Should have Rwanda Driving license with Category A.
• Good understanding of digital channels.
• Identify fundraising strategies that benefit and complement the mission and vision of the Bank.
• Any other work as assigned by the supervisor.
