Key technical skills and knowledge: At least 3 years of experience in teaching in the field of speciality and/or 3 years experience in Music TVET system; Exceptional teaching skills/experience; Being able to demonstrate high proficiency in reading, writing and speaking the language, preferably a native speaker; Being able to teach several levels concurrently when necessary; Create a pedagogical environment for students to learn effectively, with use of ICTs and active methodologies (Singing); Being a positive role model for students, staff and parents in every respect; The ability to teach a second language may be advantageous.
Job profile
ACADEMIC REQUIREMETS: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts with Education, Linguistics, French and English, French and Kinyarwanda, LLA , LLF having Education in this field is an added advantage. Key technical skills and knowledge:
– At least 3 years of experience in teaching in the field of speciality and /or 3years Experience in Music TVET system;
– Exceptional teaching skills/experience;
– Having a positive role model for students, staff and parents in every respect;
– Encourage and develop confidence in students with patience;
– Preferably has Sight Reading Skills;
– Past Experience of running bands or ensembles may be advantageous;
– The Ability to play and/or teach a second instrument may be advantageous;
– Has the ability to accompany rehearsals and concerts;
– Must be able to play in different genres and styles.
