DUHAMIC – ADRI is seeking to recruit 1 highly motivated and hardworking person to work as field officer for its project named “Strengthening integrated ECD services delivery’ located in Huye district. The recruited person will work closely with DUHAMIC ADRI team with a task of monitoring and providing supportive supervision to Early Childhood Development (ECD) facilities in all 14 sectors of Huye district.
Duration: 1 Year
Net salary: 300,000 Rwf
Starting date: April 2021
Major Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly supportive supervision of caregivers and parents committees on all ECD services delivery
- Monitor the enrolment and attendance for ECD for all children aged 3 to 6 including children with disabilities
- Support growth monitoring in collaboration with community health workers at ECD
- Work with Inshuti z’umuryango to discuss about the children education and related issues identified in the community
- Ensure collaboration with the project stakeholders at district level
- Prepare and submit data and narrative reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) for the project
Qualifications and requirements
- University Degree (A0) in social studies, education, public health, psychology, and related fields.
- 1 year working experience in the field of supporting ECD (Community based ECD, home based ECD, School based ECD);
- Have computer literacy;
- Have strong written and spoken English and Kinyarwanda;
- Be available and ready to live in Huye district.
