Reporting channel: reports to the SPIU Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Establish a procurement plan for all projects and activities under the RTDA
• Develop measures for adherence to specific procurement rules and guidelines in line with projects into consideration
• Monitor and report on the implementation of the procurement plan
• Prepare bidding documents for Government and donor funded projects
• Publish, collect and distribute invitations to bidders
• Receive and safe keeping bids/tenders
• Spearhead the timely evaluation exercise of tenders and proposals
• Prepare notification letter of tender award
• Prepare contracts and follow up the signature process
• Prepare procurement reports
• Establish mechanisms for contract management with user department and the legal adviser
• Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by the SPIUC/RTDA Management

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics
5 Years of relevant experience
