Job Description
1. Perform Verification/type approval/ inspection and stamping of traffic related measuring instruments and other measuring instruments subjected to legal metrology controls
2. Ensure the measurement traceability of traffic metrology standards are maintained
3. Conduct activities under legal metrology such as metrological controls, verification and initiate the necessary follow up actions.
4. Provide report to direct supervisor on work performed and matters affecting the work of the unit and the general execution of activities.
5. Complete and maintaining records of activities conducted daily.
6. Maintain the Quality Management System of the laboratory and other standard by conducting activities in accordance with the metrology law, RS 438:2021 and procedures
7. Account for monthly revenue generated from the execution of laboratory activities in the field of traffic control
8. Maintain the laboratory in a tidy and organised manner at all times.
9. Perform any other organization related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the direct supervisor and any other duly authorised person
10. Operate in compliance with organizational regulation and rules
