Job responsibilities
Prepare tax payments Estimate and track tax returns/Refunds Complete quarterly and annual tax reports Organize and update the company’s tax database or tax account Recommend tax strategies that align with business/ institute goals Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns Ensure the proper use of EBM Declaration of taxes and statutory deductions in due time Share financial data with the accounting department to harmonize and regularize the ILPD tax account. Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits Follow-up business trends and track changes related to tax Laws and regulations Liaise with internal and external auditors Ensure proper filling of tax and declaration documents Liaise with RRA for better collaboration in handling any tax and tax declaration matters Ensure that the deadlines for declarations and response to RRA tax assessment are responded to on time. Assist the Accountant in recovery of receivables Follow up the requests for tax refunds claimed by the institute
