Job Description
Create a system that facilitate effective collection and correction of data in the sector;
Collect data and evidences for elaboration of sector policies, strategies and plans;
Cross check and triangulate the sector’s available data and figures with publicly available sources;
Report, drafting, and submission to the Director General of Future Planning;
Provide an essential framework to be used in the collection, preparation, recording and use of statistics in the sector;
Undertake important recommendations for research in the sector;
Ensure regular update of the sector databank;
Collaborate with technical staff in developing tools that facilitate stakeholders to harmonize and exchange sector related information;
Collaborate with NISR and other sectors to ensure collection and reporting of ICT and Innovation sector disaggregated data at all level;
Ensure regular update of the sector indicators and baselines;
Provide Technical advice to sector staff and stakeholders in area of statistics;
Collect the data and evidence for elaboration of sector policies, strategies and plans;
Cross check and triangulate the sector’s available data and figures with publicly available sources;
Provide information on needed information during the planning and budgeting process;
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics

Knowledge and experience in the use of statistical packages (SPSS, STATA, CSPro)

Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English and/or French. Knowledge of all is an added advantage
