Job Responsibilities
- Ensure full execution of Mobile Money KPIs as cascaded by the line supervisor.
- Contribute to the development of the departmental business plan based on rigorous environmental and competitor analysis.
- Ensure full compliance with Mobile Money’s financial policies, procedures, and systems.
- Attend to queries from Master agents, agents, and service centers.
- Ensure onboarded SPs Accounts are Created and Maintained in line with the Company policies.
- Perform reconciliations for SPs and Merchants and handle any claims for Refund.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly performance reports on a timely basis.
- Work with the approved budget for internal projects, under direction from the SM FinTech Finance operations
- Escalate issues that will result in severe time, scope, productivity, and cost or resource impact on SM FinTech Finance operations.
- Gather customer feedback on MoMO financial operations performance to improve service delivery.
- Ensure timely review of non-banking SP account movements and report any anomalies to the Revenue Assurance team for investigation.
- Ensure daily preparation and monitoring of the MoMo revenue report.
- Coordinate with MoMo products, Retail, and corporate business to record all revenue generated and prevent leakages.
- ensure timely computation and payment of agents and master agents’ commission in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
- Ensure Reconciliation of system balances pre and post-implementation of any major upgrades or changes to ECW
- Ensure effective use of Agent Float management account and perform regular reconciliations.
- Ensure timely monitoring, reporting, and reconciliation of MoMo pre-funded accounts as well as system account in line with Company policies.
- Ensure customer statements are generated and issued based on requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure receivables from partners are reconciled and EBM invoices are issued in a timely manner and in line with SLAs and agreements in place.
- Ensure compliance with E-Money regulation by regular monitoring of Escrow accounts concentration ratio.
- Ensure partner liquidation is done in a timely manner based on customer requests.
Job Requirements
- A Degree in Finance or Accounting, management, or a related field is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in any of the Fintech, Telcom, or Banking, sectors is mandatory,
- Pursuing CPA or ACCA or other equivalent professional qualifications is mandatory. Having completed this qualification would be an added advantage.
- Demonstrating an understanding of IFRS and regulatory operational requirements is mandatory.
- Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise with a good understanding of the emerging market is preferred.
