Glo-Harmony Scholarship
Eligibility
International students from developing countries in the DAC list of ODA Recipients
Subsidies
Subsidized period: maximum of 8 semesters
Full tuition exemption and 600,000 KRW per month of living expenses
Application Period
January and July
Selection Procedure
Students submit applications to SNU’s Office of International Affairs → The Office makes the first selection → Samsung Foundation conducts interviews and make the final selection → Admissions noticed

Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) – Korean Government Support Program for Self-Financed Student
Eligibility
Self-financed international students in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year
Overall GPA and previous semester’s GPA must be over 80 out of a possible 100
Subsidies
About 6 million KRW (500,000 KRW per month)
Subsidized period: about 12 months
Application Period
Around February
Selection Procedure
Applicants submit documents to SNU’s Office of International Affairs → The Office send them to the National Institute for International Education → The Institute make the selection → admissions noticed

DAEWOONG Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility
International students enrolled in undergraduate degree programs
Subsidies
One-time award of 2,000,000 KRW
Opportunity to have working experience at Daewoong Group, advantage when applying for Daewoong Group after graduation.
Application Period
Around April every year
Selection Procedure
Applicants submit documents to SNU’s Office of International Affairs → The Office make the 1stselection → DAEWOONG Foundation conduct interviews → Decisions noticed

Korean War Memorial Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility
Direct descendants of foreign war veterans who participated in Korean War
Subsidies
Tuition fee: full tuition exemption
Dormitory fees (subsidized by SNU)
Living expenses: 500,000 KRW per month
Selection Procedure
Applicants submit applications to respective College → Colleges make the 1st selection → SNU’s Office of International Affairs makes the 2nd selection → Korean War Memorial Foundation makes the confirmation → Decision announced
