Job Description

•Meet and interact very regularly with investors as assigned by the team lead to understand and solve investor challenges;

•Conduct on site visits to registered investors as assigned by the team lead to identify problems and assess needs in order to ensure the operationalization of projects; •Consistently and systematically record information and data regarding investor discussions, field visits, and challenges identified and input into the investment management system (CRM);

•Undertake post registration monitoring of all registered investment projects to check alignment with investment registration and relevant regulations;

•Propose and undertake strategic measures and interventions that ensure reinvestment in existing, along the value chain or in completely new projects;

•Propose proactive and pragmatic solutions to resolve identified investor challenges;

•Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly activity reports to the team lead on the progress of any non
– operational projects;

•Work closely with exporting investors to understand constraints and opportunities for increased export capacity;

•In close collaboration with existing exporters, co
– develop export strategies and plans to ensure increased export capacity of high potential exporters; This would include e.g. product positioning, packaging, and pricing strategy; financial, technological and demographic research to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity

•Any other duties that may be assigned to him/her by hierarchical supervisor.







Job Profile

Minimum Qualifications

•Master’s Degree in any of these fields: Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Management, Education, Agribusiness, Communications, Public Administration, Marketing, Social Work, Law, ICT, Statistics, Social Sciences, Engineering with 3 years of relevant working experience or;

•Bachelor’s Degree in any of these fields: Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Management, Education, Agribusiness, Communications, Public Administration, Marketing, Social Work Law, ICT, Statistics, Social Sciences, Engineering with 5 years of relevant working experience; Key competencies required •Demonstrated experience working in diverse business environments in developing and/or fast growing economies;

•Demonstrated expertise in dealing with strategic private sector engagements with a view to understand private sector perspectives;

•Demonstrated experience in marketing and/or relationships management with private and public sectors;

•Knowledge of private sector development policies; •Strong analytic and creative skills capabilities with ability to find pragmatic solutions to investor problems; •Excellent team work skills with ability to work collaboratively in a team towards delivering results; •Strong interpersonal and strategic engagement skills with ability to build & nurture trust relationships with a diverse set of investors;

•Strong command of written and spoken English; •Proficiency in French and Kinyarwanda is a plus;
