Job Description
– Organize and lead inspection of tourism entities to ensure quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements;
– Organize and lead joint inspections of tourism entities for quality assurance on operational basis and during events as need arises;
– Ensure reporting and feedback on non-compliances found during inspections for total quality assurance;
– Follow up on the implementation of the recommendations during quality inspection for compliance;
– Develop and update standards, guidelines, procedures and checklists on quality standards for tourism entities and for regulatory compliance;
– Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure joint inspections are conducted on a continuing basis to enforce compliance with regulations and meeting of standards;
– Participate in the development and review of standards guidelines and classification criteria for tourism facilities at local, regional and international levels;
– Responsible for ensuring Service delivery complies to Statutory and Regulatory requirements;
– Develop strategies and mechanism for maintaining quality assurance standards in tourism Sector;
– Develop and review quality and safety policies and manage audits by third-party inspectors
– Evaluate and recommend corrective actions to resolve major quality problems in Tourism & Hospitality Industry;
– Finding ways to measure customer care satisfaction in hospitality and improve services;
– Handling customer complaints or any major incidents;
– Assist in ensuring that service levels across the industry are adequately and efficiently monitored and maintained;
– Prepare weekly, monthly, Quarterly and annual reports;
– Any other related assignment as may be directed by superior(s).
