SeaTech Rwanda ltd was registered and established in Rwanda in 2020 as a subsidiary of Sea Tech Marine Construction based Haifa – Israel. A company that specializes in oil and gas construction works, plant desalination, underwater pipe installation and repairs, salvage and recovery, reservoir cleaning and operating ROVs, underwater welding and cutting, ship construction and repairs.
Seatech is certified in oil and gas industry by the Association of Diving Contractors International [ADCI] and we use Commercial divers using surface supplied diving. Job Tittle: Project Planner
Reports to: CEO/Project Manager
Location: Site Based.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Be fully conversant with the terms and conditions of the project and have a complete understanding of the scope of work.
- Be conversant with “Primavera” programming software.
- Be responsible for the preparation of DPR’s, Variation Orders and SI’s.
- Participate in daily progress meeting and SIMOPS with the Client.
- To prepare a detailed project schedule in Primavera.
- To update the schedule daily, based on actual progress reports.
- Collect from the Dive Supervisors Dive Logs and prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR’s) and Site Instructions (SI’s) including costs and submit to the Client daily.
- To ensure that DPR’s and SI’s are signed and returned by the Client no later than 48 hrs after submittal as stipulated in the contract.
- Participate in daily SIMOPS and progress meetings with the Client.
- To alert the CEO and Project Manager on possible delays in the project, so management can alert the Client as per the contract.
- Prepare EOT claims where applicable.
- Assist in End on Project documentation.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in large scale construction projects and familiar with the terms and conditions of the project and have a complete understanding of the scope of work.
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in project planning or related field.
- Be conversant with “Primavera” programming software – level 4.
- Be familiar with FIDIC Contracts.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Ability to identify bottle necks, critical tasks, and possible delays.
- Full in detailed understanding of the Scope of Works (SOW), sequence and durations
- Understanding and being able to do stability calculations of marine vessels/barges.
