About the Job

We are looking for a self-driven and motivated Design scrum master who uses the right channels of communication as a crucial aspect during any project to support our Product Design team in the BK Digital factory. You will ensure the team has healthy product/Sprint backlogs in collaboration with the Product Owners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assigning project tasks, resources, and time frame while controlling schedule and ensuring they run on time, and meet expectations
  • Determining and managing project communication strategy with the Design team to ensure other teams involved and stakeholders are informed of project status
  • Determining project timelines, monitoring, tracking, controlling, and reporting on design team impediments and project status
  • Assisting the design teams to align with the DF product roadmap.
  • Planning and coordinating Design standups, roadmaps, and retrospective sessions within the team.
  • Formulating techniques for Design backlog to ensure that product owners and engineers have clarity and follow up on the backlog.
  • Understanding and helping formulate Product Design goals
  • Planning Design team building activities to improve teamwork and positive working relationships within the team.
  • Resolving conflicts and issues that might occur within the Design team.




 Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or certification in IT, business management, project management, SCRUM, a related discipline OR equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience a as Scrum Master, Requirements Engineer, and Project Manager in a software development team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of design wireframes and mockups
  • Understanding of software development life cycle.
  • Experience working in an agile team
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.)
  • Experience working with designers, developers, and Product Owners.
  • Knowledgeable in Project Management tools eg. Notion, Azure
