Role overview

This project will be implemented in five countries and funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the framework of the SRHR Partnership Fund. Country coordination roles are divided in the Consortium (comprising 5 organizations) with VSO taking the lead in Rwanda for 2 years.

The central objective of the project is to improve the capacity of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to advocate for the realization of the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) of marginalized young people with compounded vulnerabilities.

The Project Community Mobiliser will provide field level coordination ensuring that VSO volunteers and staff offer our value proposition to other consortia members. She/ He will link the field level activities and the country level. There will be technical support from implementation manager and supervisory role.

Skills, qualifications and experience

A result- driven individual with substantial experience of leading partnerships and large consortia, preferably in SRHR projects. An individual with excellent influencing, networking and relationship building skills to ensure that all consortium partners work in synergy and support co-ordination and integration of the project at country level. The ideal candidate will be a key contact point for strategic partners, donors, and representation of the project in country.
