Background
King Faisal Hospital Rwanda Foundation (KFHRF) is a non-profit Foundation dedicated to supporting the growth of Rwanda’s health sector. Through various programs, partnerships, and services at King Faisal Hospital Rwanda and other hospitals across the country, the Foundation strives to enhance specialized medical care, facilitate clinical research, promote education and capacity building, and advance social welfare initiatives. Currently, KFH is undergoing plans to expand to 600+ beds with appropriate adjustments made also to diagnostic and support services to serve the community over a 30-plus year horizon.
King Faisal Hospital Rwanda Foundation is therefore seeking applications from qualified individuals for the position of full-time Project Administrator to assist in the above project of design and build of King Faisal Hospital Rwanda Expansion from 150 to 600 beds.
Responsibilities
- Technical Documentation Management: Develop and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure projects, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and consultants, to ensure smooth implementation of infrastructure projects.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualification and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or IT-related fields only.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in infrastructure development or reporting, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Proven experience in technical documentation management and reporting.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and implement plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Kinyarwanda or French is an asset.
Competencies
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and professional ethics.
- Knowledge of infrastructure development practices for healthcare facilities.
- Understanding of construction standards, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to conduct analyses and understand construction costs.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to report and draft meeting minutes accurately.
