Purpose |
Professional in charge of Computer Assisted Audit supporting the audit function through using sophisticated ICT tools to extract, mine, analyze, and examine voluminous data especially complex accounting, financial, telecommunication, banking and tax related records for both private and public institutions. S/he is recognized as an expert in the application of statistical sampling techniques, providing data analytics of complex computerized data and recommending the most effective method to provide audit data required.

Key duties and responsibilities |
- Work closely with auditors and other stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
- Work closely with auditors to identify areas where data analytics can be used to improve the audit process.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential areas of noncompliance.
- Present findings in a clear and concise manner, using data visualization tools to communicate complex data to auditors and other stakeholders.
- Develop predictive models to help auditors identify potential areas of noncompliance.
- Use data analytics to support the audit planning process, including identifying potential areas of risk and allocating audit resources effectively.
- Develop data monitoring and tracking systems to help auditors identify noncompliance and to ensure that taxpayers are meeting their tax obligations.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and data analysis techniques to ensure that you are using the most effective tools and methods to assist auditors.
- Carry out any other task assigned by the supervisor.
