About the Job

Here at BK Digital Factory, we value design as a key component of creating a great user experience. We are an in-house and consultant design team looking for a Product Designer. We’re looking for someone who is experienced in designing good user experiences for both mobile and web. Key Responsibilities

  • Participating in and influencing the design decisions for banking digital experiences that touch millions of our customers every day.
  • Translating concepts and interactions into simple, elegant, and coherent design and define user journeys.
  • Producing compelling visual deliverables to illustrate desired customer experiences through low, mid, high fidelity prototypes and provide detailed specifications for software developers.
  • Understanding our customers’ motivations and needs through user research and other information-gathering practices.
  • Exploring multiple user-centered design concepts through whiteboard sessions, wireframes, and usability studies to gather end-user feedback and continually improve the customer experience.
  • Designing simple, brilliant experiences that reflect the brand(s) and our Digital Experience Principles.
  • Supporting and communicating with your team partners (Product Managers, Engineers) through the conception, build and release of software features.
  • Engaging with developers, and quality assurance to understand our platform’s capabilities, communicate design specifications, and verify implemented designs
  • Design team representative and point of contact for product owners and product team members in developing a user-centered approach to all activities.
  • Designing compelling marketing material to support digital products




Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or certification in Computer science, Design, a or related discipline
  • 1 – 5 years as a Designer (from Intern to Senior level)
  • Experience working with Product Management and Engineering teams
  • A design portfolio demonstrating design principles for web and/or mobile platforms
  • Proficiency in the use of digital design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch and/or Adobe Creative Suite, Invision, Axure, Proto.io, etc
  • Experience in creating use cases, flow diagrams, prototypes, scenarios, and wireframes in the context of product development
  • Experience in Visual Design an added advantage
