Purpose |
The assistant Board Secretary is the top frontline, customer-facing operational staff. He/she assists the Board secretary in Board affairs related activities. |
Key duties and responsibilities |
- Collect and organize departmental data for own assignments from internal and/or external sources and systems.
- Conduct technical information review, analysis, and inspection of Board data or assignments for relevant core tasks to verify legal or procedural compliance.
- Attend Board meetings and take minutes.
- Monitor Board matters arising and keep the commissioner informed.
- Prepare a summarized note on Board resolutions.
- Prepare invitations to attend Board committees and Board meetings
- Follow up on the implementation status of the committee and Board resolutions
- Perform other duties that may be assigned in the interests of the Department & the Institution in General
- Plan individual work assignments to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Prepare and submit reports including recommendations to the direct supervisor.
