Il vise à renforcer les capacités des petites commerçantes transfrontalières dans les régions frontalières de la RDC, du Rwanda et du Burundi, pour qu’elles remettent collectivement en question les dynamiques liées au genre qui contribuent aux conflits au sein de leurs communautés et plus largement dans la région, et de faire usage de leur influence afin de promouvoir une plus grande cohésion sociale et une plus grande coopération régionale.

Vers la fin de l’année 2020, International Alert a reçu un financement supplémentaire et s’est convenu avec l’ambassade de Suède à Kinshasa et l’ambassade de Suède à Kigali de faire l’extension du projet sur les 2 frontières qui seront confirmées par les résultats de l’évaluation des besoins couplée avec une étude de base aux frontières de Ruhwa (Rwanda)– Cibitoke (Burundi), Akanyaru Haut (Rwanda)-Kayanza (Burundi) et Nemba (Rwanda) – Kirundo (Burundi).

Dans cette perspective, le projet MSL compte réaliser une évaluation des besoins et une étude de base dans ces nouveaux sites précités. Cette entreprise a pour objet de s’acquérir de la situation de départ sur les mouvements des petites commerçantes transfrontalières au niveau de chacune de ces frontières, de l’inclusivité des dynamiques du genre ayant des impacts sur la participation des femmes petites commerçantes transfrontalières (FPCT) à la de prise des décisions dans leurs foyers et dans leurs communautés, de la situation des ressources économiques chez les FPCT et des opportunités de la mise en œuvre du réseautage des acteurs économiques pour plaider pour la cohésion sociale et la coopération régionale ainsi que le niveau de l’application de la législation en matière du petit commerce transfrontalier.

Pour ce faire, International Alert cherche à recruter des enquêteurs et superviseurs d’enquête résidant dans ces sites pour collecter les données de cette évaluation ainsi que celles de cette étude de base et en même temps constituer une base des données des enquêteurs et superviseurs d’enquête pour ces sites.  Les enquêteurs et superviseurs d’enquête sont recherchés pour la collecte des données au cours du mois de février 2021.

  1. Principales responsabilités

Pour les enquêteurs

  • Participer à la formation organisée pour préparer la collecte des données ;
  • Collecter en langues locales les données auprès des enquêtés et des informateurs clés ciblés sur le terrain ;
  • Participer au conseil d’équipe organisé chaque jour après le terrain ;
  • Vérifier et corriger les erreurs commises lors de l’enregistrement des données après vérifications par les superviseurs ;
  • Ramener au superviseur toute difficulté rencontrée sur terrain durant la période de l’enquête ;
  • Maintenir la confidentialité des données collectées ;
  • Proposer des voies pour améliorer et rendre facile la collecte avec l’utilisation des tablettes ;
  • Elaborer un rapport à la fin de la collecte des données de 2 pages maximum à remettre au superviseur.

Pour les superviseurs d’enquête :

  • Participer à la formation organisée pour préparer la collecte des données ;
  • Assurer la supervision des enquêteurs sur le terrain et s’assurer que ces deniers mènent des entretiens de qualité en langues locales ;
  • Organiser des réunions de conseil d’équipe avec les enquêteurs de sa zone de supervision ;
  • Vérifier la qualité des données collectées par les enquêteurs de sa zone de supervision ;
  • Veuillez à la protection du matériel mis à la disposition l’équipe d’enquêteurs pour la collecte des données ;
  • Proposer des voies pour améliorer et rendre facile la collecte des données avec l’utilisation des tablettes ;

Les enquêteurs et les superviseurs d’enquête seront payés après la validation des données et à la fin du travail selon la politique d’International Alert sur le traitement des consultants journaliers. En cas de nécessité de voyage, les frais de voyage sont aussi pris en charge par International Alert.

Seuls les jours de travail seront payés, les jours de voyage ne sont pas pris en compte dans le calcul.

  1. Profil des enquêteurs et les superviseurs d’enquête
  • Avoir au minimum un diplôme d’études universitaires(A0) en sciences sociales, économiques ou développement rural et être capable d’assimiler une formation ;
  • Avoir précédemment travaillé dans le domaine des enquêtes et de préférence avec une organisation internationale en utilisant la nouvelle technologie de collecte des données
  • Savoir manipuler les outils de collectes des données y compris le matériel de collecte des données par téléphonie mobile ;
  • Avoir la capacité d’administrer un questionnaire d’enquête complexe ;
  • Avoir des connaissance et expérience des approches sensibles au genre et aux conflits;
  • Savoir parler et écrire en français et au moins en une langue locale du site pour lequel on soumet sa candidature ;
  • Être habitant dans un des sites suivants : Ruhwa, Akanyaru, Nemba, Cibitoke, Kayanza et Kirundo. Les personnes n’habitant pas l’un de ces sites ne sont pas concernées par cet appel

Technical

POSITION SUMMARY

DCOP leadership, management, and technical knowledge will ensure the delivery of high-quality programming and advance the position of Water For People as a leading organization in the implementation of the THRIVE activity.

Under guidance from the COP and the Country Director, DCOP will oversee the development, management, and implementation of the anticipated THRIVE program and he is expected to lead the program team to:

 1) Strengthen decentralized WASH governance, including improving District WASH Boards performance and increasing public funding for the WASH sector.

2) Improve Rural Drinking Water Services, including improving the capacity of district WASH services regulator, provision of reliable water services, and increasing funds for operations and maintenance.

3) Improve rural sanitation services through increasing user’s willingness to pay for sanitation services and products and availability of sanitation services and products.

PROJECT SET-UP AND DESIGN

Under guidance and supervision from the COP:

  • Lead the implementation and management of the THRIVE activity.
  • Ensure that the project is designed and implemented to meet donor expectations in terms of timely and quality results and budget, including strategies for phase-out and sustainability.
  • Ensure effective coordination between program partners and operations leads.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent management skills and good knowledge of US Government procedures and policies, agreement compliance, financial planning and management, procurement, sub-award management, and other management support areas/functions, including the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
  • Master’s degree in Water Resources Management, Water Engineering, international development, Environment, or related field of study.
  • At least seven (7) years of professional experience in WASH;
  • Prior experience as a Deputy Chief of Party or comparable senior leadership position with significant budget management experience on USAID funded awards;

Role overview

Job summary• Accountable for project coordination in all Districts ensuring VSO/Donor are well represented

Skills, qualifications, and experience required

Essential:
Practical experience of working in development and a strong understanding and competence in steering quality and complex programmes/ projects in the field.Knowledge/qualifications:
• University degree in the area of Project management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Education with at least 3 years of work experience.Experience:
• Minimum 3-year project management experience in similar education programmes, incl. financial and budget management
• Proof of successfully managing field-based programmes and adhering to project security, risk management, and duty of care principles to the highest international standards.
• Understanding of social inclusion, social accountability, and resilience principles.Skills/Abilities:

Role overview

Programme quality monitoring
• Support in designing appropriate data collection tools for streamlining data collection and reporting, management of programme data and reports, and supervising and coordinating volunteers, partners, and staff during data collection;
• Work with the programme team to ensure that LIA (MEL/MEAL) is well integrated at the planning stages of projects;
• Provide support and training in the use of LIA (MEL/MEAL) tools such as the IMPACT online reporting system; and other monitoring tools;
Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis as assigned by the supervisor;
• Supports programme staff to report and update all donors log frame as needed;
• Conduct regular monitoring of the quality of project implementation by volunteers, programme staff, and partners on a regular basis;
• Assist in the development of and maintenance of project detailed MEL plans and frameworks;
• Create and maintain the IMPACT system user account for new staff, volunteers and partners.Programme evaluation
• Assist in the organization of baseline, mid-line and end-line project evaluations;

 Title: Creative designer

A Creative Designer works in areas of marketing and advertising to create various materials, such as product labels or brochures that provide information about a company’s offerings. They design these materials using paper sketches and digital illustration software. They will follow the process from concept to rough layout to prototype to completed project.

Job title: CNC Programmer

Responsibilities:

  • Read and review technical drawings and import 2D and 3D CAD drawings into Mastercam.
  • Create programs in PLC using 2D and 3D CAD drawings.

  • May need to create a 2D and 3D model within CAM software to make fixturing for the machines.

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in design engineering, engineering, product design or relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years of CAM software programming experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in operating CNC machines in a work environment.
  • Ability to program multi-axis CNC milling and lathe equipment using CAM software (MasterCAM, SolidWorks CAM, Solid Edge, Fusion 360, NX CAM etc).

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all engineering activities of the design team.
  • Defining, planning and approving the work activities of the design team. This includes defining and approving work content that may be assigned to other functional resource group within the engineering department.

The  Machel-Mandela Fellowship program aims to be the most prestigious of its kind in Africa.  It helps sharpen the Brenthurst Foundation’s focus on Africa’s burgeoning youth population and helps nurture Africa’s future leaders.

The purposes of the Office of Global Affairs (OGA) are to foster an environment of multi-cultural learning, to promote respect among members of the global village, and to forge a broader sense of understanding within the National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) community of the differences among diverse peoples. The OGA also acts as the liaison office between NTHU and international students and scholars. Our mission is to help internationalize NTHU so that students are trained to serve their own society as well as the international community.

Eligibility for Fully Funded International Scholarships

1. All individuals of foreign nationality, who never had a R.O.C. citizenship and do not possess an overseas Chinese student status at the time of their application, are qualified to apply for admission to National Tsing Hua University as an international student.

2. The following two exceptions are made for individuals who have lived overseas continuously for more than six years. The six year period shall be calculated from the starting date of the semester for which the applicant is applying (Feb.1st for spring semester or Aug.1st for fall semester). “Overseas” refers to countries or regions other than Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau; the term “continuously” means that an individual may stay in Taiwan for no more than a total of 120 days per calendar year.

(a) An individual who is also a national of the R.O.C. but does not currently hold and has never held a household registration in Taiwan.

(b) Additionally, in individual who, at the time of application, has had their R.O.C. citizenship annulled by the Ministry of the Interior for no less than 8 years.
