Job Description:  Rwanda Warehouse Manager

Sokowatch is searching for a stellar warehouse manager to be based in Kigali. They will undertake all aspects of warehouse manager for Sokowatch in Rwanda. The primary goal of this position is to monitor report and optimize inventory controls in Rwanda.

Responsibilities,

  • Responsible for the supervision and management of all warehouse operations in Rwanda including staff.
  • Responsible for the development and compliance of agreed-upon warehouse standard operating procedures across all warehouse functions (eg. loading, stock reconciliation, cash reconciliation, storage, stock counts).
  • Spearhead all inventory cycle counts, analyze variances and fully investigate and report on stock variances i.e expected versus actual / physical.
  • Generate reliable reports on inventory levels, movement as well as stock valuation on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Responsible for the management of inventory across all branches. Ensuring each branch is not over/under- stocking on any SKU.
  • Responsible for managing the communication flow between branch level warehouse team and finance team with regards to timely payment for LPOs.
  • Responsible for managing the communication flow between country-level warehouse managers, supplier relations, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of requested LPOs.
  • In charge of tracking and reporting of country level agent shorts, inventory shrinkage as well as send out LPOs.
  • Responsible for the development of branch-level warehouse team budgets (eg. budget for additional personnel, storage capacity, parking capacity, offloading capacity, stock forecasting)
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, commerce, business administration, or a closely related field.
  • Proven work experience as a warehouse manager for at least 5 years.
  • Expertise in the development and implementation of warehouse management procedures and best practices.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of the warehousing key performance indicators (SOPs)
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff effectively for optimal performance.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and must be  fluent in English
  • Must exhibit a high level of integrity, keen on details, and comfortable working with numbers.
  • Ability to multitask, provide leadership and perform under pressure.

About the Role

Call center operators are integral parts of TUBURA’s continued commitment to providing all of our clients with great customer service, ensuring proper communication between TUBURA and clients. As a call center operator, you will be the voice of One Acre Fund’s clients. You will take care of incoming customer calls and also conduct outbound surveys. acting like a bridge connecting the organization to its clients.

Responsibilities

Hotline Inbound (Incoming calls)

  • Your main role involves receiving client phone calls and recording them in the hotline database -Zendesk (perform ticketing of the calls). You will actively learn about the program through meetings and field visits in order to be able to answer most client concerns.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respectful communication to all clients calling the Hotline.
  • Respond to various client concerns, i.e. distribution quantities, quality, and varieties; prepayment and repayment; documentation (IDS, Invoices, etc.); questions about Tubura program, and many more program-related queries.
  • Correspond and work together with other teams to resolve each unique client issue.
  • Clearly communicate any system changes related to inputs, repayment, or other to the clients

Outgoing Call Function

  • You will be responsible for making outgoing calls to current TUBURA clients in order to conduct short surveys and identify outstanding client protection issues.
  • For each outgoing call, you will be responsible for recording all relevant data, including categorical and qualitative responses to survey questions.
  • You will be responsible for escalating any urgent client protection issues to the Customer Engagement Call Center Coordinator.
  • Occasionally you will be required to inform clients about how their claims have been solved.

Data quality

  • You’ll be responsible for collecting high-quality data and updating them in the appropriate databases per team’s policy.
    Correct any error that may be in the data and Flag it to the team’s coordinator

Small projects

  • The Call Center Team will be responsible for occasional small non-repeated incoming/outgoing call projects. You will include these small projects in your monthly schedule as appropriate, and effectively manage your time between these projects and your primary responsibilities.

 World Vision Rwanda is a child focused Christian humanitarian organization implementing development programs in 29 Districts of Rwanda.

World Vision Rwanda seeks to hire a highly qualified, dedicated, and experienced national for the position of Sponsorship and Partnership Coordinator. The position will be based at Rutsiro District Reporting to the Cluster Manager.

 Purpose of the position:

 The Sponsorship and Partnership Coordinator provides specialized support for the implementation of Sponsorship operations within the Cluster. The position holder ensures Sponsorship is well integrated within all program sectors and is responsible for accurate and timely processing of correspondences as well as monitoring of child well-being outcomes for all Registered Children. He/she participates in community engagement and capacity-building efforts of partners and community groups for the improvement of the wellbeing of the most vulnerable children.




The major responsibilities include:

Campus Merit Scholarships

The Campus Merit Scholarship is awarded in recognition of outstanding academic achievement. Monetary Awards Scholars are eligible to receive $2,000 per year for a maximum of four years for freshman or two years for transfers. Those who submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Dream Application and who are determined to have financial need may also be offered additional financial aid including grants, loans, and/or work-study.

Duration of Scholarship

For first-year students, the award is for four years or 12 quarters of enrollment. For transfer students, the award is for two years or 6 quarters of enrollment.

  1. Roles and responsibilities of the coffee Roaster

The European School of Urology (ESU) Scholarship to Study in Europe

To promote excellent basic research work, EUSP Scholarship offers a year long programme in a leading European research institution.

Each year the EUSP Board contacts certified host institutions to check for basic research projects that can be taken up by a potential EUSP scholar. These projects will be published online and will be promoted duringEAU meetings and the Annual EAU Congress to inform urologists who are interested to apply. After the annual deadline, the EUSP Board will review all applications and select the best candidate for each project.

Conditions for Application

  • Applicant should be certified urologist or urologist in training aged under 40 years
  • Applicant should have at least 3PubMed publications
  • Membership of the EAU is mandatory
  • A written project proposal of at least three A-4 pages, including a detailed time schedule, should be included in the application
  • Ethical approval of the project is mandatory
  • A letter of acceptance from the Chairman and/or Programme Director of the host institution is required
  • An EAU-EBU Certified host centre is preferred but not mandatory
  • The selected start date of the Scholarship should be at least 3 months after the application deadline (which is 1 January, 1 May or 1 September)
  • Grant

    A maximum grant of €30,000 is available for each accepted project proposal. Expenses have to be justified by a well-documented budget that is to be included with each application. The budget should include the estimated costs of living, travel expenses for one round trip, limited refunds for continuing expenses in the home country, such as continuation of insurances and other costs for which documentation can be presented.

    The EUSP grant is meant to finance the above-mentioned costs made only by the applicant, and not by accompanying persons. The EUSP grant will be transferred in 3 parts; 40% of the total grant will be transferred approximately 1 month before the start date, the next 40% will be transferred after 4 months Scholarship and the final 20% will be transferred after 8 months of the Scholarship. The applicant should provide a complete financial overview together with a proof of payment of travel, accommodation, insurance and continuing expenses in the home country, after the Scholarship.

    Reports

    The scholar is required to present reports which should include:

    • The clinical or scientific achievement
    • Impressions of the host institution
    • Evaluation of the provisions that have been made by the host institution for the successful conduct of the (research) project

    A first report should be submitted six weeks after the start of the scholarship. This report will be evaluated by the EUSP advisor in consultation with the supervisor of the host institution. In case of a negative evaluation, the scholar may be asked to discontinue the scholarship. A second, intermediate report should be sent to the EUSP Office after six months. A detailed overview of expenses should be included.

    At the end of the scholarship the scholar is obliged to submit a 10-page (minimum) written summary report of his/her work, plus the prints of resulting publication(s), which should be accepted for presentation at an international meeting in urology and published in the abstract book relating to the meeting. Furthermore, the scholar is expected to present his/her work during the EUSP Session at the Annual EAU Congress.

    How to apply

    Review of applications

    After the application deadline, the EUSP Board will evaluate all applications that have been submitted and select the most suitable candidates for a personal interview to be scheduled during the Annual EAU Congress.

    Applicants will be informed approximately one month before the Annual EAU Congress whether or not they have been selected for an interview. From these candidates one or more applicant(s) will be selected for each project, depending on the size and the expected duration of the project. The outcome of the interviews will be communicated to the applicants within a month after the Annual EAU Congress. The decision of the Board is final and no further appeal will be accepted.

    Intellectual property and financial benefits

    The regulations of the host institution where the research project is conducted will apply to the intellectual property as well as any financial benefits resulting from the research performed under the terms and conditions of this scholarship. All the publications must acknowledge the support of the European Urological Scholarship Programme.

2. Nostro Reconciliation Officer

Purpose of the Job

The purpose of this job is to monitor, follow up and report unmatched national & cross border transactions in order to mitigate the fraud risk related to those transactions.

Key Accountabilities not limited to:
  • Responsible for daily production and matching process of post-value date reconciliations of Nostro accounts.
  • Report any query to the relevant unit for timely investigation.
  • Monitor unreconciled items for correspondent accounts to mitigate the fraud and errors.
  • Analyze both incoming and outgoing transactions related to clearing for a proper posting.
  • Review treasury front office tickets to ensure counterparty is settled.
  • Monitor and follow up on bank notes exported and imported to ensure that the money is correctly sent or received.
  • Undertake daily production and matching process of post- value date reconciliations of Nostro accounts.
Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years working experience in finance related field

Evaluates what services are considered medically necessary and work with different service providers to ensure that the required services are being given in the appropriate setting and attempt to control cost.




Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Supervise Pre-authorization of scheduled and non-scheduled admissions within the set guidelines and carry out verification and medical Audit of claims/invoices before settlement.
  • Negotiate/discuss professional fees as appropriate for each admission.
  • Set the appropriate parameters for each admission (claim reserve, initial authorized cost and duration).
  • Prepare utilization reports of clients on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Develop and implement a chronic condition management program for all our clients with chronic conditions.
  • Carry out monthly review of reserves.
  • Provide monthly reports on admission cases.
  • Liaise with other medical schemes for purposes of evaluating medical risk.
  • Ensure that all amounts owed by third parties (e.g. contributing policies such as other medical policies, NHIF GPA, PA, travel, etc..) are fully recovered.
  • Participate in product presentation and health talks activities on a need basis

Academic/Professional Qualifications; experience; skills and competencies

  • University degree in nursing

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of policy covers/wordings and their interpretation as pertaining to claims.
