RMIT University Future Leaders Scholarships for International Students in Australia 2022

MEET OUR SCHOLARSHIPS HELPERS HERE (WHAT’S UP)

This scholarship is awarded to international students from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal or Pakistan who will commence their Bachelor or Master by Coursework program at RMIT University.

Value and duration

20% tuition fee reduction for the program duration outlined on your offer letter.

Eligibility

In order to qualify for this scholarship you must:

be a citizen of India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal or Pakistan

hold or plan to apply for a student visa

have an offer letter to commence from 2021 intakes onwards in one of the following programs* at RMIT:

Bachelor degree*

Masters by Coursework

not be an existing student who commence in another program within the same study level

* Exclusions apply to the following programs:

No scholarship application is required.

If you are successful, you will receive an offer letter with the scholarship details outlined.

Terms and conditions

Students with RMIT English packaged offer are eligible for this scholarship when they meet the required English level of the eligible Bachelor or Master by Coursework program.

If you have been offered a RMIT pathway program, this scholarship will apply when you articulate into the eligible Bachelor or Master by Coursework program.

This scholarship does not apply to students tranferring through RMIT’s partner institution for Bachelor of Business programs.

Applicants should not be in receipt of any other scholarship covering tuition fees (applicants currently in receipt of a scholarship loan may be considered).

Your academic progress will be monitored at the release of results in Semester Two of each calendar year of enrolment. Your scholarship entitlements will continue to be applied as long as you maintain satisfactory academic progress.

Should you not maintain a satisfactory academic progress, your scholarship will not be applied to the next calendar year of enrolment and be cancelled.

Students who are already granted the Future Leaders Scholarship are allowed to change program in future semester, the scholarship will apply to the new program as long as the new program is not under the exclusion list above.

Administrative Officer with JICA Cambodia

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), an executing agency of Japanese Official Development Assistance (ODA), opened its representative office in Cambodia in 1993. Since then, JICA has been working together with the people of Cambodia focusing on capacity development and infrastructure development that will enable developing countries to pursue their sustainable socio-economic development through Technical Cooperation, ODA Loan and Grant Aid.

The newly recruited staff will work as an administrative officer. The staff is assumed to be assigned to general affairs section.

(1). Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. To engage in security and safety management for JICA staffs, experts, volunteers and persons concerned.
2. To collect and analyze information related to current political and social situation and general crime in cooperation with JICA security advisor.
3. To engage in office management such as maintenance of official car, electricity, water, telephone, other facilities and management of drivers.
4. To support a JICA health advisor by collecting necessary information and data, arranging the site survey of hospitals and other facilities in Phnom Penh and Provinces and accompanying the advisor for the survey.
5. To procure and maintain office equipment and necessary services.
6. To engage in other administrative works as instructed.

(2). Requirements (Qualifications and Experience)
1. University degree. Advanced degree would be of an advantage.
2. Native tongue in Khmer and excellent speaking, reading and writing ability in English.
3. Minimum 5 (five) years of professional experience directly working at the administrative department/section in international organization or private company.
4. Experience working in or with relevant ministries/international organization would be of an advantage.
5. Long-term carrier vision as a JICA staff for more than 5 (five) years.
6. Cambodian national

(3). Competencies required
1. Ability to work independently with a minimum supervision as well as ability to work as a team.
2. Sufficient ability to read and summarize the relevant documents such as announcements, reports issued by government or relevant donor parties.
3. Strong commitment and competency to create and strengthen the relationships and communicate with various stakeholder.
4. Proficiency with relevant computer programs (internet, email, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)
5. Strong commitment to learn and improve, especially JICA’s regulation on accounting and procurement

(4). Working Information

Job description

– Answerable to the Center Manager;
– Perform daily medical care;
– Authorize delivery of prescribed medicine by the contracted pharmacies;
– Transferring ex-combatants to different Hospitals;
– Teach ex-combatants about transmissible diseases such as AIDS and its control;
– Produce and submit daily situation reports, weekly flash reports, monthly statistical reports and quarterly narrative reports to his/her supervisor ;
– Perform other official duties assigned by the supervisor.
