SOCIAL SAFEGUARD SPECIALIST

1. Background

To address challenges hindering the agriculture sector in Rwanda, The Government of Rwanda secured a financing agreement for the implementation Commercialization and De-Risking for Agricultural Transformation (CDAT) Project, aiming at increasing the use of irrigation and commercialization among producers and agribusiness firms in supported value chains, and to increase access to agricultural finance. The target beneficiaries will be farmers’ cooperatives, commercial farmers and small and medium-sized agri-enterprises (agri-SMEs). Under CDAT project, BDF was tasked to manage Matching grant. Matching grants will help draw private investments and investors into growing or underserved markets by addressing specific barriers to market entry for certain target groups, technologies or service providers. The CDAT matching grant facility provides grants to support beneficiaries to access formal markets, including national and regional markets.


2. Purpose of the Position.

The Social Safeguards Specialist will ensure the compliance of Social Safeguards in all BDF’s operations under CDAT project as per BDF’ Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS). S/he will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing social policies and procedures as well as reviewing and appraising received application for compliance with the national and World Bank E&S instruments. He/she will also provide technical assistance to the technical departments, particularly in relation to Environmental and Social Safeguard issues. The Social safeguard specialist reports to the CDAT Project Coordinator and will closely work with all other technical departments.


3. Main responsibilities

Key roles and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Conduct the risk management process related to Social risks of projects seeking financing from BDF. (Identify, assess, propose mitigation measures, monitor and report project risks);
  • Support and guide the activities of Social Safeguards at institutional level.
  • Ensure effective integration of social Safeguards considerations into all aspects of identification, consultation, planning and implementation of CDAT project activities;
  • Undertaking reviews and preparing monthly progress reports on social Development assignments.
  • Establish and redress grievance mechanisms as well as consolidating a grievance database of all project sites under which the project is implemented and maintain it updated.
  • To be part of the training and raising awareness sessions with the communities about GBV, SEA, VAC, HIV/AIDS, Labor Influx prevention.
  • Coordinate and liaise with the development partners to ensure effective mainstreaming of social Safeguards issues into the implementation of CDAT project activities;
  • Ensure that CDAT Project activities are consistent in their approaches to social Development issues, thereby supporting full blending at the operational level;
  • Enforce the compliance with the Environmental, Social, Health and Safety development partner policies;
  • Ensure that social Development related modules are incorporated in the training and capacity building programs at all the levels;
  • Follow up the Grievance Redress Mechanisms in place and the major issues related to the CDAT projects;
  • Defining, and subsequently monitoring, suitable social Development indicators for Projects;
  • Ensuring regular interaction with the External Consultants / Development partners Mission / stakeholders on Social Safeguards aspects;
  • Ensure that key departments and BDF branches countrywide have sufficient knowledge and skills to implement the requirements of Environmental and Social Management System and other E&S Safeguards instruments;
  • Prepare periodic reports (Monthly, Quarterly and annually) on the status of environmental and social compliance of investment projects funded under the CDAT project;
  • Develop and update environmental and social Safeguards documents with relation to Partners’ (Donors) Environmental and Social Standards (ESSs), Project Aide Memoires, Development meetings, progress reports, etc);
  • Develop & provide quality control of training materials for internal staff and for PFIs & delivery of training on social aspects to internal staff and PFIs and maintaining training records.
  • Identify and report on social Sefeguards implementation performance of sub-projects/investments, particularly those with high Development sensitivity;
  • Contribute significantly to advocacy, dissemination, and knowledge building, with regard to the National and World Bank’s environmental and social Development policies;
  • Resolving social issues in case of non-compliance, and where needed, preparing a time-bound corrective action plan with specific follow-up procedures.

4. Qualification and professional experience

Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Sociology, Social Works, sciences, social administration, anthropology, applied social sciences or any other related disciplines. A professional certificate in social Development is an added value.

The experience and skills shall include but not limited to the following

  • A minimum of ten (10) years for bachelor’s holders and seven (7) years for master’s holders of relevant professional experience in social Development management.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the World Bank best practices and/or guidelines and procedures on social Development, social assessment, social analysis, effective stakeholder participation and complaint resolution systems, and the regulations and legal framework governing environmental and social management
  • Familiarity with the Occupational, Health and Safety procedures and regulations
  • Proven ability to plan, execute, and monitor social Development activities within project timelines and budgets.
  • Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations.

Mastery of computer skills sufficient to monitor the implementation of E&S aspects and prepare reports and presentation of results.

2. Overall Functions of the Position

The CDAT Project Coordinator oversees the overall management of Project activities. He/she is responsible for the successful implementation of matching grant project in line with the targets and milestones. He/she will ensure that project activities are implemented within the policies and procedures in consideration of Project Implementation Manual and other project guidelines as well as all relevant legislation and professional standards.

3. Coordination

  • Plan, implement, organize, operate, and control all CDAT matching grant related activities.
  • Supervise staff and program to ensure effective execution of activities.
  • Monitor and approve all expenditures related to budgeted programs, ensuring all compliance.
  • Ensure that the program operates within the approved budget and adheres to financial regulations.
  • Identify and evaluate potential risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to mitigate them.
  • Regularly report on program progress to the Chief Executive Officer and RAB/SPIU, maintaining transparency and accountability


4. Management

  • Supervising the implementation of Project activities in accordance with the matching grand manual, with the decisions of the National Steering Committee and other guidelines provided by project key stakeholders;
  • Actively coordinate and collaborate with other project implementing agencies RAB/SPIU, NAIS, RAB/SPIU, MINAGRI, etc.) and ensure effective coordination of initiatives and build partnerships with relevant stakeholders within the Government as well as with other partners. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Ensuring appropriate synergies between Project components to maximise their impact.
  • Supervising the preparation, negotiation and oversight of memoranda of understanding, agreements and other contracts with project partners and service providers.
  • Maintaining internal transparency for the most important technical and project management decisions through regular meetings with stakeholders
  • Ensuring the timely preparation of progress and financial reports
  • Follow up and ensure compliance on disbursements procedures to the project end beneficiaries.
  • Supervise and support, Monitoring/ evaluation, environmental and social Development, legal aspects and civil engineering activities.
  • Promote teamwork, enhance communication and timely exchange of information.
  • Follow up on regular reports on financial management of the project, procurement, M&E aspects and Environmental & Social Development performance of the financed projects.

5. Qualifications and experience

  • Master’s degree in agriculture sciences, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness and Rural Development, Project Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Rural Development.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management.
  • Proven track record of successful project management
  • Working experience in project management and planning, in or with internationally financed multi rural sectorial projects.
  • Managerial skills (leadership skills, communication skills, problem solving skills, monitoring and evaluation skills, planning and organizing skills)
  • Fluent in English or French (reading, writing, listening and speaking) with a very good knowledge of the second language (French or English) and should be Fluent in Kinyarwanda.

Isoko y’Ubuzima is a 5-year USAID-funded project implemented from July 2021 through July 2026 by a consortium led by Water For People to improve WASH service delivery. Other members of the consortium are IRC, Vitens Evides International (VEI), CARE International, and African Evangelistic Enterprise (AEE). The overall goal of Isoko y’Ubuzima is to improve access to sustainable water and sanitation services.

Under the USAID-funded Isoko y’Ubuzima project, Water For People may receive funds to implement targeted WASH intervention in response to Rwanda’s Marburg Virus Disease (MVD) outbreak. The $1 million project will focus on enhancing WASH infrastructure and promoting hygiene in healthcare facilities and public places to reduce MVD transmission. It is against this background that Water For People in Rwanda is recruiting a Water Supply Engineer with the following qualification and competencies:

The Water Supply Engineer reports to the Senior Water Supply Project Manager. He is responsible for all water technical aspects of the project.


Position Objective:

Under the responsibility of the Project Manager, the water supply engineer will oversee the implementation of the Water Supply and Sanitation infrastructure under the MVD response activities funded by USAID, ensuring the timely and effective execution of WASH assessments and infrastructure projects.

This role will require strong project management skills, collaboration with field staff, and compliance with USAID requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

Planning and coordination:

  • Ensure a smooth implementation of detailed project work plans in line with the six-month response plan.
  • Coordinate the assessment of WASH infrastructure and hygiene practices in health centers and public places across assigned districts.
  • Work closely with the Isoko y’Ubuzima senior management team to ensure that construction, rehabilitation, and supply activities are delivered on schedule.
  • Identify and monitor risks, constraints, or escalating issues, and inform the hierarchy accordingly.
  • Represent the Isoko y’Ubuzima project externally and collaborate/coordinate with the Ministry of Health, local authorities, counterparts, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Assist the procurement officer in developing bidding documents following Water For People Procurement guidelines and support for Tender Evaluation as deemed necessary;
  • Support the procurement officer with water related contract management and recommendation for payments;
  • Thoroughly document progress, success, and challenges, and report to the supervisor;
  • Assist the Isoko y’Ubuzima team in the preparation of reports as they pertain to the project. Advocate for the implementation of a similar project in Rwanda, i.e., projects that involve all sector stakeholders to reach full and sustainable access to water and/or sanitation in a geographic area;
  • Strengthen relationships with partner organizations, the local private sector, NGOs, government agencies, donors, bilateral and multilateral agencies that are related to the Isoko y’Ubuzima project;


Infrastructure Development

Under the leadership of the Program manager:

  • Ensure that materials employed by contractors, approved by project supervising companies comply with accepted quality standards before they are used for the project;
  • Oversee the construction of new handwashing facilities and the rehabilitation of existing facilities in health facilities and public places like markets, bus stations, and border posts to strengthen infection prevention and control.
  • Coordinate with contractors and Isoko y’Ubuzima engineers to ensure that infrastructure meets quality and accessibility standards, including facilities for people with disabilities.
  • Facilitate the development of operation and maintenance manuals for handwashing stations and sanitation facilities to increase their use and sustainability.

Program finance and advocacy:

  • Manage the project’s budget, ensuring proper allocation across infrastructure, training, and community engagement activities.
  • Work with the Finance Manager to prepare financial reports and ensure expenditures align with USAID guidelines and Water For People policies.
  • Track and manage risks, providing timely updates to the Program Manager.
  • Routinely review partners’ financial records and control procedures;
  • Contribute to the representation of Water For People and represent the Isoko y’Ubuzima WASH Project in front of the local government authorities, donors, water and sanitation organizations in Rwanda, and Rwandan communities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations of Rwanda, the Isoko y’Ubuzima WASH project, and Water For People, and immediately report any irregularities to the direct supervisor;


Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL)

  • Ensure data collection and verification for all achievements to be made under the project implementation;
  • Work with the Isoko y’Ubuzima MEL Manager to establish and maintain a project monitoring plan, tracking progress against objectives, including facility functionality, hygiene practices, and community engagement metrics.
  • Conduct regular data quality assessments in collaboration with the MEL Manager.
  • Document lessons learned and best practices to inform future WASH interventions and share insights with partners and stakeholders.
  • Prepare narrative programmatic reports for the donor on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

  • At least 2 years of experience working in an International NGO in Rwanda;

  • Experience in procurement, computer software usage such Arc GIS, AUTOCAD, and access to e-mails and internet services;

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The main purpose of the Knowledge and Learning Specialist is to drive the learning agenda in the IYU project by leading or co-leading the design, content development, packaging, and dissemination of the project’s learning products, documenting the project outcome and lessons, developing the learning products in the four areas of focus of the IYU Project, and sharing the learning with key stakeholders.

JOB SUMMARY

The knowledge and learning Specialist will serve as the focal point for IYU Project knowledge management and learning, ensuring proper documentation, knowledge sharing, and dissemination of best practices to enhance the program’s overall impact and effectiveness.

III. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Learning Agenda

  • Lead or co-lead the design, content development, packaging, and dissemination of the project’s learning products.
  • Ensure the timely completion of learning products through close monitoring and effective communication with team members about the backward planning milestones and commitments.
  • Utilize internal and external learning forums, such as Webinars, conferences, thematic working groups, and donor-sponsored learning meetings, to showcase the project’s achievements and lessons.

Outcome Harvesting

  • Identify and document planned and unplanned project outcomes and lessons learned through site visits and key informant interviews with project staff, community members, and public and private sector counterparts.
  • Work as a knowledge champion and help support process documentation, good practices, and IYU Project success stories compilation.

Flagship Activities

  • Lead the development of learning products focused on four flagship components of the Isoko y’Ubuzima project:
  • WASH systems strengthening at the national and district levels
  • Market-Based Sanitation.
  • Reduction of Non-Revenue Water.
  • Strengthening of the private sector in WASH.
  • Collaborate with all consortium members’ local and global offices to amplify the sharing of these learning products with the Government of Rwanda, donors, and global WASH stakeholders.

Under this Partnership, the “Capacity Development for the Implementation of Rwanda’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs)” project as well as the “Climate-friendly Economic Policy and Financing” project implemented by GIZ aim to enhance the institutional, regulatory and financial framework conditions of relevant state and non-state actors in Rwanda for the financing of the country’s climate targets and greening of the Rwandan economy.


To support the implementation of both projects, GIZ Rwanda is recruiting a candidate for the position of Technical Advisor for climate and green finance based in Kigali.

Under the supervision of the Director of the “Capacity Development for the Implementation of Rwanda’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs)” project, the Technical Advisor for climate and green finance is responsible to:


Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to the overall achievement of the objectives and outputs of both projects, especially to the work streams related to climate and green finance and private sector engagement,
  • Support the political partners (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning) in the coordination and institutional strengthening of the climate and green finance agenda in Rwanda
  • Advise relevant state and non-state institutions on approaches and measures for complying with green regulatory frameworks and policies and implementing the Climate and Nature Finance Strategy
  • Foster access to climate finance with a focus on MSMEs, and specifically enterprises led by women
  • Support the design and implementation of training and capacity development measures for financial institutions and private enterprises – including those led by female and young business owners – on green financing instruments, compliance with standards and regulations such as the Rwandan Green Taxonomy, and the development of bankable business models for climate action
  • Support the identification of banks and financial intermediaries in Rwanda that my serve as partners for the project and organize and implement training measures for/with them
  • Contribute to the coordination and exchange between the two projects and the public and private sector institutions, financial intermediaries and actors that are deemed relevant to facilitate sharing of experiences, and proactively build networks for the projects` missions,
  • Support knowledge management, monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) as well as reporting-related activities and propose innovative ideas to achieve the projects` objectives,
  • Maintain a good flow of communication and information sharing with the project team and relevant project partners.


Specific tasks

The Technical Advisor performs the following tasks:

Technical and policy advice & Capacity Development

  • Advise the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning on the development and adoption of fiscal instruments for the integration of climate change considerations or for investment promotion
  • Provide technical advice to state and non-state banks and other financial institutions on financial products which are adapted to the needs of micro, small and medium-size enterprises (MSMEs)
  • Foster capacity building on climate/green/sustainable finance in general, the Rwandan Green Taxonomy, and Climate Budget Tagging for the public sector
  • Foster capacity building on climate/green/sustainable finance in general, the Rwandan Green Taxonomy, sustainability-related disclosures and climate finance vehicles for the private sector
  • Provide advice to the Rwandan Taskforce on Climate and Nature Finance (TCNF), and develop concrete activities to increase the Taskforce´s outreach and operations
  • Support the government´s efforts regarding increased transparency and accountability, and an enhanced data basis for climate and green finance, and advise on the development of a Climate Finance Dashboard
  • Identify and provide technical, policy and expert advice to selected financial intermediaries on the benefits of green and climate enterprises and on carrying out risk assessments for the use of green and climate technologies
  • Provide technical, strategic and policy advice to the Rwanda Green Fund related to climate investment programming
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of the curriculum development, Training of Trainers, and training series for capacity building measures
  • Support regional and international sharing of experiences on NDC finance and green/sustainable finance through side events and promotional activities during relevant events
  • Support the involvement of private enterprises and financial intermediaries in the project
  • Advise the Project Directors on the achievement of the projects` objectives and outputs.


Communication and cooperation

  • Support cooperation, regular dialogue, exchange and networking opportunities with all project stakeholders and within and across both project teams under the technical guidance of a “Focus Area Lead”, in close coordination with the Project Directors
  • Maintain a good flow of communication and information sharing within the project team and the relevant project partners (MoE, MINECOFIN, financial institutions, private sector, line ministries, agencies, etc.).

Knowledge management and reporting

  • Report regularly to both Project Directors on the implementation of project activities,
  • Contribute to writing project reports, meeting minutes, policy briefs, presentations, etc.
  • Support research activities, information gathering and innovative ideas on relevant topics,
  • Contribute to the capitalisation of knowledge and the design of communication tools,
  • Support knowledge management, monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), reporting-related activities as well as knowledge transfer to the project partners and within GIZ.

Other duties/tasks

  • Support the coordination and implementation of the project activities in accordance with the project objectives, GIZ procedures, rules, quality standards, and existing agreements,
  • Support the operationalization the project and participate in formulating project-related action plans while also monitoring the budgeting and financial flows of project expenses,
  • Carry out any other relevant tasks for the project as requested by both Project Directors.


Required Qualifications, Competences and Experience

Qualification

  • University degree (master’s degree) in a relevant field such as: economics, development economics, public administration, sustainable finance, environmental sciences, business administration, or any other related fields.

Professional experience

  • In total 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience in project management and/or advisory service in the fields of development economics, sustainable finance, green finance, development finance, public finance, climate finance, private sector development and public-private partnership (PPP),
  • Good knowledge of Rwanda’s climate change policies, strategies, legislation, institutional landscape, relevant implementation structures, planning processes with an understanding of the local private sector actors and financial intermediaries involved in climate protection, incl. the National Sustainable Finance Roadmap
  • Very good knowledge of the international climate finance architecture under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) and International Finance Institutions (IFIs). A strong understanding of the national climate and green finance architecture of Rwanda and prior working experience with financial intermediaries or banks would be an asset,
  • Proven work experience in advising and/or providing technical, policy and process-related advice to private sector institutions and financial intermediaries on climate-related goals,
  • Proven experience in managing external (national and/or international) consultants.

  • Very good communication and excellent self-management and coordination skills,
  • Self-creativity, proactivity and proper initiative towards the results of the project,
  • Excellent ability to share knowledge and experience and demonstrated ability to work and deliver high quality work sometimes under time pressure as well as within tight deadlines,

Other required knowledge and skills

  • Excellent command (oral and written) of English (required). French would be an asset,

Job Summary:

The Inclusive Nutrition and Early Childhood Development (INECD) activity – locally known as the USAID Gikuriro Kuri Bose program –promotes nurturing and responsive care practices, especially in the areas of health, functioning, nutrition, and early childhood development (ECD) for caregivers and children. Specifically, the activity aims to improve health and nutrition outcomes among women of reproductive age and adolescents and improve infant and young child feeding practices. It also aims to address child development gaps and significant unmet physical rehabilitation and assistive technology (rehab/AT) and social inclusion needs for infants and children. The activity focuses on community-level service delivery, community-health facility linkages and district level capacity development, as well as addresses issues of inclusion and participation, including access to programs and services for children and adults with disabilities, in line with Government of Rwanda priorities.

This position is a secondment to the National Child Development Agency (NCDA). As a National Coordinator for Nutrition Interventions, you will provide technical oversight of the development and implementation of sustainable INECD Early Childhood Development interventions in collaboration with NCDA, ensuring effective systems and processes are in place that support high-quality programming advancing Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS) work in serving the poor and vulnerable. Your management skills and knowledge will ensure that the CP delivers high-quality INECD programming and continuously works towards improving the impact of its programming. Furthermore, you will provide technical leadership and have responsibility for all activities associated with implementation of integrated activities that promote the full development of the child especially in the first 1,000 days of life.

The main role of the National Coordinator for Nutrition Interventions will be to provide leadership and technical expertise to strengthen the management, coordination, and accountability of all nutrition interventions under NCDA. He /she will oversee and lead operationalization of the Nutrition Command Post established as a centralized coordination mechanism to oversee, monitor, and support the implementation of national nutrition programs in collaboration with NCDA and other partners.


Roles and Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall coordination of the Nutrition Command Post’s activities at national and sub-national levels.
  • Lead and coordinate all NCDA nutrition interventions, ensuring alignment with national strategies and improving nutrition outcomes across all levels.
  • Facilitate the planning, implementation, monitoring and consolidating of reports from sector Nutrition Command Post interventions.
  • Enhance coordination among stakeholders to ensure an integrated approach to tackling malnutrition.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making for effective and efficient implementation of nutrition programs.
  • Facilitate regular coordination meetings with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and development partners.
  • Align Command Post operations with national nutrition policies, strategies, and goals.
  • Establish and maintain a robust data collection and reporting system for nutrition interventions.
  • Compile and share periodic reports with stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations
  • Support the development of sector plans to eliminate malnutrition and data collection tools.

  • Support advocacy to decision-makers for program strengthening, fund mobilization from the government, donors and partners
  • Lead development of annual work plans for the Nutrition Command Post, including clear timelines and milestones.
  • Produce reports from coordination meetings and field visits and analysis of the reports tracking key nutrition data points from the districts.
  • Produce quarterly progress reports summarizing key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Lead the process to establish a functional M&E system for tracking nutrition program outcomes.
  • Produce an end-of-year comprehensive report highlighting the impact of the Command Post’s interventions.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Social Work or Sociology.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in implementing or coordinating nutrition programs.
  • Strong understanding of district-level governance and public health systems.
  • Proven experience in capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and program design.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children experiencing deprivation, exclusion and vulnerability and their families.

Required Languages – Oral and written fluency in English and Kinyarwanda. French is a plus.

Travel – The position is Kigali based, seconded to NCDA. Must be willing and able to travel up to 40%.

CRS has been present in Rwanda since 1960, and currently implements projects in nutrition, agriculture, youth entrepreneurship and peacebuilding. The Country Program has around 80 staff and implements its projects through local and international partners, with strong coordination/collaboration with Government of Rwanda (GoR) structures.


Program Description

The Gikuriro Kuri Bose (GKB) – Inclusive Nutrition and Early Childhood Development (INECD) program, a 5-year USAID funded activity (October 1, 2021 – September 31, 2026), has a broad focus on strengthening governance and coordination of inclusive nutrition and early childhood development (ECD) service delivery at national and decentralized levels; improving access and availability of high-quality inclusive nurturing care services; and increasing household resources and skills to provide optimum nurturing care and to promote healthy growth and development of children in the target areas. It also aims to address child development gaps and significant unmet physical rehabilitation and assistive technology (rehab/AT) and social inclusion needs for infants and children. The activity will focus on community-level service delivery, community-health facility linkages and district level capacity development, as well as address issues of inclusion and participation, including access to programs and services for children and adults with disabilities, in line with Government of Rwanda priorities. Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is the prime of INECD and is implementing Program in consortium with four partners: Humanity Inclusion (HI), UMUHUZA, Three Stones International (TSI), University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) and four sub-partners (LCSO – Local Civil Society Organizations): CARITAS, African Evangelistic Enterprise (AEE), Young Women Christian Association (YWCA), Duharanire Amajyambere y’Icyaro – Association pour le Développement Rural Intégré (DUHAMIC-ADRI). The program is implemented in 10 districts: Kicukiro, Nyarugenge, Rwamagana, Rulindo, Burera, Nyabihu, Kayonza, Ngoma, Nyamasheke and Nyanza. The Program aims to improve the health, functioning, nutritional status, and wellbeing of women of reproductive age and children under six years of age, with an emphasis on the 1,000-day window, strengthen inclusion of children and adults with disabilities, and improve positive parenting and child development.

GKB project boasts a robust and adaptable MEAL design which will work through existing MOH/NCDA systems for data collection and reporting. In addition to routine monitoring activities, annual survey data will be collected using ICT4D tools, and evaluations has assessed progress at baseline, and will do the same at midterm, and endline. Project learning will be advanced via regular quarterly reflection meetings and other activities, and partner and LCSO capacity will be strengthened through MEAL training, on-job training, joint supportive and appreciative enquiry. Gikuriro Kuri Bose MEAL Team, including the MEAL Advisor, Deputy MEAL Advisor, Collaboration and Learning Advisor, Data Specialist and Partner MEAL Officers will be responsible to ensure the development, coordination, and smooth implementation of these activities.


Primary Function

The Deputy MEAL Advisor will assure the design and effective implementation of GKB’s MEAL framework, supporting the strategic direction developed by the MEAL Advisor and collaborating with Collaboration and Learning Advisor, Data Specialist and Partner MEAL Officers. S/he will ensure the monitoring of the program Detailed Implementation Plan on monthly basis, coordinate timely data availability and accessibility within program reporting timeframes, coordinate district annual plans and periodic reports, supervise Data Quality Assurance (DQA) processes, and lead MEAL capacity building activities for DPEM Coordination Committees and LCSOs.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the program Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP) on monthly basis.
  • Assist MEAL Advisor through coordinating and leading the process compiling and consolidating periodic project reports, plans, and documentation efforts.
  • Produce data analysis and summaries for key program indicators and DIP status and provide regular feedback program staff.
  • Coordinate field data collection activities, maintaining a schedule of all routine monitoring activities as well as annual or periodic MEAL activities to be completed
  • Assist MEAL Advisor in implementation of the SMILER process and compilation of the M&E Operating Manual, in conjunction with LCSOs and government representatives and in compliance with CRS’ MEAL Policies and Procedures.
  • With MEAL Advisor and associated program staff, design, field test and revise data collection tools, including using ICT4D tools where applicable.
  • Assist with setup of the ICT4D system, including creating survey forms with CommCare and carrying out needed trainings for LCSOs and data collectors, as well as analyzing and producing reports.
  • Coordinate the identification of staff capacity and technical assistance needs of partner organizations and capacity strengthening and required interventions to support quality project implementation.
  • Help identify, assess and strengthen partnerships relevant to INECD, applying appropriate application of partnership concepts, tools and approaches.
  • Carry out capacity building activities for LCSOs and district staff on the use of existing government monitoring systems including RapidSMS, HMIS, Child Score Card among other systems.
  • Supervise and provide technical support in all GKB data collection activities.
  • Develop training modules on MEAL processes for LCSOs and DPEM Coordination Committees and implement training.
  • With MEAL Advisor, Collaboration and Learning Advisor, UGHE researchers and with input from MOH and LCSOs, define a learning agenda for the life of the project, including defining research questions of interest and coordinating regular and occasional learning events such as joint reflection sessions. Facilitate learning sessions.
  • Provide support in the coordination of baseline, midterm, and endline evaluations
  • Facilitate the development of DQA strategy for each LCSO and DPEM Committee, in close consultation with district staff.
  • Supervise data quality assurance (DQA) processes.
  • Monitor the functioning of beneficiary accountability and feedback mechanisms.
  • Coordinate and carry out joint monitoring visits to project sites.
  • Conceptualize processes for systematic documentation of project successes and communication of successes/lessons learned with various stakeholders and, with MEAL staff, ensure these processes are implemented.


Qualifications and Experience

  • A master’s degree in international development, statistics, monitoring and evaluation, epidemiology, mathematics, social science of any related fields plus five years of professional experience in MEAL programming.
  • Familiarity with principles and current approaches to MEAL of development programs, using both quantitative and qualitative methods; substantial experience applying both types of methods
  • Proficiency in analyzing, interpreting and communicating information to various stakeholders
  • Understanding of USAID MEAL requirements; previous MEAL experience for USAID projects required
  • Previous experience working with ICT4MEAL
  • Knowledge of geographical information systems and science would be an added advantage
  • Previous experience working with local partner organizations in capacity strengthening roles
  • Previous experience with operations research and leading and managing large research studies and consultants

II. Project Background

The African Union Commission, the European Union Commission, Smart Africa Alliance (SAS) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) have engaged in the creation of a political initiative entitled the EU-AU Data Flagship with the main objective of unlocking the social and economic potential of data across the African continent and protecting citizens’ fundamental rights. The flagship is designed to work on five pillars of intervention: data policy frameworks, data innovation, data infrastructure, data against pandemics and data professionals.

In line with the data infrastructure pillar, Smart Africa in collaboration with GIZ are committed for the development of Digital Infrastructure in Africa, by promoting innovative initiatives in digital infrastructure financing and Continental Connectivity Backbone for Smart Africa Member States. The consultant will work closely with the consultancy firm to be recruited, in crafting a Pan-African guideline for Digital Infrastructure Financing and provide support to two member countries in designing actionable policies for creating dedicated funds to develop digital infrastructure. In addition, the consultant will work with the Smart Africa team in developing the wholistic approach and implementation roadmap towards creating a special purpose vehicle for the Smart Continental backbone.


III. Scope of Work

The consultant will work extensively on

Strategic Guidance:

  • Advising the Smart Africa team on the landscape of existing instruments for digital infrastructure financing in Africa and elsewhere as well as the continental connectivity backbone among Smart Africa member states.
  • Ensuring the deliverables of the project aligns with the Smart Africa Objectives of developing a practical policy that will help to create a fund for digital infrastructure financing.
  • Develop a landscape mapping of all projects across the continent, tackling the missing connectivity links in relation to the Smart Continental Backbone.


Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Follow up closely with countries to ensure a timely delivery of the project within the grant timelines with respect to the digital infrastructure financing.
  • Prepare and update the management of Smart Africa and the Grant managers on the milestones achieved while he/she works closely with the consulting firm to ensure timely project closure.

Feasibility Studies:

Evaluate the economic, technical, and regulatory feasibility for fund establishment, based on the inputs from the consultancy firm and his/her own experience.

Any other assignment within the scope of digital infrastructure that may be assigned to the consultant by the supervisor.

He/she will work in close collaboration and consultation with relevant members of the functional units (Awards, PDQ, HR, and Finance) within Save the Children Rwanda as well as external partners working in child protection including Government agencies mainly National Child Development Agency and donors mainly UNICEF

The incumbent will be also responsible for monitoring expenditures of the Programme through analysis of monthly Budget Versus Actuals (BVAs) and feedback to the Finance team for appropriate adjustment in case of inconsistency.

In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder might work outside the normal job description and be able to vary working hours accordingly.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all aspects of the implementation of the Child Protection programme in all the districts the programme will be implemented from.

Ensure coherence of programme activities with Save the Children’s Country Strategic Plan

Link programme activities to the organization’s global strategy;

  • Responsible for successful project implementation with high-quality standards as per the project objectives and country strategy.
  • Work with other Country Office Child Protection teams to regularly report on the Country Strategic Plan, Child Protection thematic goal.
  • Ensure that programme activities contribute to Save the Children programme and advocacy priorities
  • Identify and build links with other programme sectors, ensuring that issues for child protection are raised and addressed
  • Ensure programme activities in the operational area are well managed and monitored to fulfill the requirements of approved Save the Children Thematic quality standards and Annual Operational Plans.
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive implementation strategy with clear benchmark indicators and work plans.
  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quarterly, monthly and weekly activity plans to achieve expected results ensuring quality compliance. This includes planning of activities, budgets, and procurement.
  • Work with staff to ensure effective monitoring, evaluation, and documentation of programme activities.
  • Produce timely reports, and assure that quality weekly, monthly, quarterly, and other reports including all required reports to the donor agencies are developed and submitted in accordance with agreed donors/members schedules.
  • Participate in program proposal processes and ensure that all CP programmes processes are in accordance with grant agreements and completed within time and on budget.
  • Oversee and ensure effective budget management through monitoring of budget vis-a- vis actual spending linked to the detailed implementation plan and the procurement plan.
  • Highlight and follow up on capacity assessment and capacity building plans to ensure quality CP programming.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain departments to ensure effective use and delivery of Save the Children resources.
  • Work very closely with various respective technical specialists based at the Country Office for proper programs integration and coordination.
  • Support the project implementation by ensuring gender, age, disability and inclusive approaches at all levels.

Overall management responsibility for all Area Office Child Protection staff.

  • Lead and motivate the team to ensure effective implementation of program activities, including by providing technical support to ensure program quality.
  • Ensure there are regular staff team meetings.
  • Ensure key issues are brought to the attention of the line manager for discussion and review.
  • Monitor and support child protection staff in implementing Save the Children project management systems and guidelines to ensure the smooth implementation of approved activities.
  • Ensure appropriate induction, training and follow-up in grants/financial management, logistics and security guidelines, monitoring and evaluation procedures and guidelines.
  • Capacity building and technical guidance on child protection
  • Make regular field visits to Districts to review the progress of the Programme implementation.
  • Identify support required from technical staff teams in the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programme activities.
  • Liaise with key departments in the Country Office on technical issues to ensure adherence to SCI best practice approach for child protection in refugee camp situations.
  • Participate in mid-term or final evaluations and ensure lessons contribute to the development of future CP program work.

Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning / Research

  • Provide programmatic inputs for the development of the ToRs, review ToRs of evaluations/baseline studies which include background information and scope of work and proposed methodology.
  • Review accountability to beneficiary’s data and reports and provide technical support to the implementation team and use key learning from accountability system for program development, planning, improvement, and implementation.
  • Staff Management, Mentorship, and Development

Manage performance of direct reports in the work area through:

  • Effective use of the Performance Management System including the establishment of clear; measurable objectives, ongoing feedback, periodic reviews, and fair and unbiased evaluations.
  • Timely performance review of staff line managed by you as per the organization plan around the year.
  • Build the capacity of staff to monitor/ manage grants and awards as well as understand and implement compliance requirements from donors, Save the Children and/or the Government of Rwanda.
  • Maintain clear communication with both the functional (direct) line manager and the technical specialists to foster a smooth working relation under the existing matrix structure.

Save the Children representation, Coordination, and Leadership on Child Protection in internal and external forums

  • Regularly coordinate and collaborate with other SCI sector teams to strengthen programming and impact for children;
  • Engage local authorities and make sure Save the Children is considered one of the preferred partners that supports their Imihigo contracts;
  • Coordinate and ensure relevant information from interagency, coordination, sector, working group meetings are timely shared to a concerned staff, program area level.
  • Coordinate effectively with field-level Donor offices, stakeholders, district officials and other implementing partners to ensure our cause to protect children from violence is advocated for and influenced at all levels.
  • As necessary, participate in and strengthen interagency coordination on child protection, and ensure that the critical protection needs of children are profiled, through close liaison with child protection partners and programme stakeholders.
  • Work in close coordination with field-level implementing partners to ensure a response to child protection is provided in a holistic manner.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • University degree in relevant fields preferably Social Sciences,
  • Prior experience with Project management and preferably budget holding would be a strong advantage
  • Previous exposure to Save the Children project management methodology
  • Understanding of Save the Children’s administrative and operations management structures.

Brief description of DUHAMIC-ADRI

DUHAMIC-ADRI operates in countrywide with a vision of “a rural world responsible for its self-socio-economic development” and the mission of supporting integrated development through the initiatives of the rural population in their struggle for self-development.


Brief description of Climate-Smart Agriculture Project

Since July 2024, DUHAMIC-ADRI is partnering with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) through a signed Partnership Framework Agreement (PFA) to implement Phase II of the Climate-Smart Agriculture and Market Development for Enhancing Livelihoods of Refugees and their Host Communities in Rwanda.

The Climate-Smart Agriculture initiative aims to improve food security and self-reliance for 2,036 beneficiaries (732 refugee and 1,304 host community households, including 1,091 women and 945 men). By 2026, this project will benefit over 7,851 family members through climate-smart agricultural practices and a market development approach.

Specifically, the partnership focuses on contributing to achieving the following outcomes of the project: Outcome 1: Increased Agricultural Productivity and Outcome 2: Increased Household Income.

It is in this regards, DUHAMIC-ADRI wish to recruit one (1) qualified Driver who will facilitate different travels of DUHAMIC-ADRI team under across the district of interventions “Nyamagabe and Gatsibo” districts for the Climate-Smart Agriculture and Market Development for Enhancing Livelihoods of Refugees and their Host Communities in Rwanda project.


Specific Responsibilities:

  • Drive staff/guests or partners in a safe, timely, and controlled manner;

Position Overview:

The MEL Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the effective monitoring, evaluation, and learning of GHI’s programs. Reporting to the MEL Manager, the MEL Specialist will be responsible for implementing robust MEL systems. She/he will support in fostering a culture of strong, data-informed decision-making within Gardens for Health. The MEL Specialist will support MEL team operations, build the technical capacity of the MEL team, and ensure that data is utilized to both support and improve program activities. The position is based in Ndera, Rwanda with travel to Gardens for Health’s operations districts, Gasabo, Burera, Kayonza, as well as other locations as required for program implementation and monitoring.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Support program activities by assisting with data-driven decisions.

Qualifications:

Position Overview

The Data Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the effective monitoring, evaluation, and learning of GHI’s programs. The Data Associate will provide support to the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team in planning and implementation of monitoring, evaluation and learning teams. S/he will be responsible for project database management and maintenance, and S/he will support in the development of data capturing tools to be used on mobile devices and in field-testing and general data collection processes. Reporting to the MEL Manager, Data Associate will support data analysis, maintain the database and conduct preliminary data cleaning. He/she will also provide support to the data collectors and filed facilitators about the data collection system, and conduct supportive supervision to the field staff. The position is based in Gasabo, Rwanda with travel to Gardens for Health’s operations districts, Gasabo, Burera, Kayonza, as well as other locations as required for program implementation and monitoring.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Responsible for database management system.
  • Assist the MEL team in developing mobile-based data collection tools.
    Develop and maintain database, ensure data is collected and submitted, and perform preliminary data check and cleaning.
  • Support in designing and updating program dashboard.
  • Travel within Rwanda to conduct regular visits to program sites to provide technical assistance and ensure proper monitoring of program activities
  • Supports data collection, data entry & data analysis based on monitoring, evaluation and research studies requirements.
  • Program, test, maintain and update data entry applications for manual data entry or electronic data capture.
  • Develop proper data documentation and filing system.
  • Contribute to preparing program presentations by supplying analyzed data in form of graphics, etc.
  • Define and execute processes for identifying potential data problems due to transcription, or recording errors.
  • Develop data collection and supervision plan to ensure data quality.
  • Use statistical software for qualitative and quantitative analysis like R, SPSS, STATA, etc to efficiently analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Perform other relevant organization duties as advised by the supervisor.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, informational technology, demography, social sciences with specialization in data management.
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in human development as a data Associate.
  • Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation of large-scale nutrition projects, and familiar with nutrition, health and agriculture indicators.
  • Data management skills with a proven understanding of the principles of data management and administration.
  • IT and database skills with familiarity with modern databases and IT systems and how they work.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Analytical skills with proficiency in analyzing large amounts of data.

As the Managing Director of DICo, you will report directly to the Chairman of Board of Directors, respond to the shareholder requirements and will be responsible for the design and execution of DICo’s business strategy.


You will lead a team of commercial professionals for the branches, develop sales strategies, pricing and commercial processes which maximize return on investment and profitability.

In this role, the Managing Director will:

Delivering business results

  • Lead the development of the business Strategy of the branches. Translate the business strategy into functional commercial strategies and business goals.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the annual sales and marketing plans of the branches.
  • Work with the branch managers and marketing team for repositioning branches as a strong brand in the hospitality industry.

Operations management

  • Ensure compliance with the required standards as specified in the company policy and local legislation.

  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of branches targeting exceptional customer service and standards.

Customer service

  • Create a customer database and a customer relationship management system
  • Lead the development and implementation of a Customer Service Charter
  • Ensure the customer service desk is fully operational and responds to customer issues as per the Hotel standards.
  • Work with the hotels and guest house managers to monitor guest reviews and ratings, analyze trends, and take appropriate actions to improve overall guest experience.
  • Build and foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers and other key stakeholders in the hotel industry.
  • Make sure through marketing and IT team update the website to reflect the products and services offered by branches. Establish a separate webpage for the Dove Supply and Trading company

Financial management and reports

Work with the Head of Finance to:

  • Generate company report with monthly, Quarterly and Annual financial reports
  • Draft and submit to board of directors’ annual action plan and budget
  • Monitor financial performance through regular analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as required.
  • Ensure effective cost control measures are in place without compromising service quality or guest satisfaction.
  • Work with the Audit team to comply recommendations in quarterly and Annual audit reports. Ensure audit findings are implemented.


People Management

  • Set clear and measurable objectives/targets in monthly, quarterly and annual basis to be reported to the Chairman of Board of Directors. Drive performance and accountability, and support the teams to achieve their targets through appropriate support and resourcing.
  • Work with the Human Resources team to develop and implement a comprehensive the staff training and development programme, focusing on programmes that help staff gain new skills and sharpen their abilities for better performance.
  • Work with the Human Resources team to set performance targets for all staff and ensure evaluations are done every quarter and at the end of the year
  • Work with HR to ensure effective Talent Management and Succession Planning strategies are in place to mitigate the risks of skills gaps.
  • Lead with safety as a priority, ensuring all decisions are made with safety in mind. Role model safety behaviours and hold direct reports accountable for implementing and maintaining safety policies in the workplace that are in line with the Hospitality industry and safety rules and procedures.
  • Provide the necessary leadership, motivation and guidance to all employees through mentoring and identification of best practices to enhance performance excellence.


IT system enhancements

Work with IT to review the existing Software systems including Financial management, Procurement, Human Resources Management and Kitchen Management and propose enhancements to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Required experience, competencies and Qualification

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications, competencies and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, marketing, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in above disciplines, IFC training, and/or ACCA create value to this position.
  • At least ten years’ experience in business and included at least 3 years at the same level of this position.

Job Description

SNV is hiring the Country Finance Officer to support the country’s finance function. Reporting to the Country Finance Manager, the Country Finance officer will focus on correct and exhaustive country and project finance, reported in a timely manner, all of which is compliant to SNV policies and procedures as well as donor procedures, regulations and guidelines.
The Country Finance Officer checks, executes, consolidates and reports on financial and non-financial data in the country and checks financial project administration. Ensures the stability and transparency of the overall country finances, in order to be compliant to SNV’s corporate financial guidelines and procedures as well as donor requirements, accounting and reporting regulations.


Key Position Roles and Responsibilities

Financial Advice and Information 

  • Provides (non) requested financial data, analyses and advice to relevant internal and external parties as input for further decision-making and handling. Gives advice, balancing country interests, relevant regulation, corporate standards and guidelines, considering the project set-up with different donor(s) and in line with business requirements and SNV’s corporate financial guidelines and regulations. Answers questions regarding financial administration and data, based on requests and corporate procedures. Contributes to global finance procedures and guidelines, finance strategy in the country and project finance by giving feedback and proposing changes.

Financial Accounting and Administration

  • Executes, checks and consolidates all necessary activities to assure complete and correct allocation of costs and time. Ensures that internal- and external reporting are aligned to financial regulations, SNV financial standards and guidelines and donor requirements. Assists in the management of intercompany projects.


Financial Planning and Control 

  • Supports all budget holders in being compliant to internal- and external procedures and regulations and SNV and donor guidelines regarding the financial administration of country operations and projects. If applicable executes or supports in execution of all financial related activities within the country (annual budgeting process, periodic forecasting, support control, monitoring and auditing).

Financial Reporting & Compliance 

  • Provides (input for) financial reports and analysis, to provide insight in the overall country and projects financial status to both internal and external (e.g. donors) parties in order to safeguard financial performance, profitability and to estimate financial risks and take precautions.
  • Ensures correct, exhaustive reporting to donors within agreed timelines, in line with donor and SNV financial guidelines
  • Coordinate, Preparing and submitting financial reports to the Deputy Country Finance Manager or CFM for review before submitting to the donors.
  •  Ensure donor compliance throughout the project cycle, from inception, execution, and project closure.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual SNV financial statement in compliance with the country’s financial reporting framework.

Budgeting

  • Assists in development of budgets in proposals up to budget value of the set threshold. Takes the lead or supports in the financial part of a proposal from start to submission by developing, reviewing and refining budgets in line with full cost recovery policy, donor requirements, Finance-, Human Resources- and Business Development policies and procedures. Supports the registration of financial data (coherence of data) in diverse information systems. Assists in the capacity building of new implementation partners in sub grants management.
  • Collaborate with project managers/budget holders to develop project budgets in compliant to internal and external procedures and regulations and SNV and donor guidelines regarding the financial administration of country operations and projects.
  •  Monitoring budgets and identifying any variances between projected spending and actual spending to ensure that expenses do not exceed funds available.
  •  Ensure that budget proposals are realistic, accurate, and in compliance with donor requirement.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis to DCFM and CFM, PMs, highlighting variances and proposing corrective actions.

Qualifications

The Office Assistant (Receptionist) will be responsible for managing the SNV entrance ensure smooth day to day functioning of the office front desk and delivering excellent reception service to visitors, the receptionist will also support Operations and Finance team with various administrative tasks contributing to the Overall efficiency of the office operations.

About the Role

You will help uphold client protection standards and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the whole investigation process.  You will be a part of the Field data Verification Team in the Business Operations and will report directly to the Field Data Verification special investigations Coordinator. This role is based in Rubengera HQ and is hybrid Field and Office based.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate reported violations of Client Protection policies and prepare comprehensive reports following team guidelines.
  • Investigate incidents related to Solar Lamp fires and stolen site stock inputs, delivering detailed reports within agreed timelines.
  • Perform special investigations as assigned by the manager, ensuring analysis.
  • Ensure accurate, detailed investigation reports and maintain transparency throughout the investigation process.
  • Work with Hotline, Tubura, and CDM teams, and coordinate with other departments for investigations that require interdepartmental collaboration.

About the Role

This role will manage and control and ensures the quality of all the FDV Team’s data that has been gathered from field as a data Entry and controls on them .  You will be a part of the business operations and will report directly to the FDV Controls Coordinator. This role is based in Rubengera HQ and is office based.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate data entry, maintain FDV database integrity, and conduct quality checks on client data while safeguarding confidentiality.
  • Standardize documentation practices, assist sometimes with audits, manage access to the fdv team’s databases, reports and Google folders.
  • Analyze and manage client claims, guaranteeing resolution and escalating urgent issues to relevant parties.
  • Support FDV policy implementation by assisting managers in enforcing controls and reporting policy breaches, promoting adherence across the team.
  • Prepare reports from field data, draft investigation letters, and help present data analyses, coordinating with team management on findings as needed by your manager

Function summary

Area Manager oversee multiple locations of a business, ensuring they operate smoothly and achieve their goals within ASA International (Rwanda) Plc. He/she is responsible for working hard to growing company business by doubling the clients, tripling the profit and multiplying the impact; improving quality of Portfolio by reducing overdue and bad debts, and contribute to the increase of network efficiency. The role requires a dynamic leader with strong stakeholder management skills and a deep understanding of both microfinance operations and technological innovations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

  • Directing and supervising the operations of multiple branches within their assigned area
  • Coordinating and managing area activities towards achieving operational objectives settled by the company
  • Provide the Trainings, and evaluate the staff performance within the branches under his/her control
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and regulatory requirements, rules and regulations & circulars sent to the branches under his control
  • Creating and implementing plans to increase market share and profitability
  • Regularly communicating with upper management on sales, employee performance and customer satisfaction
  • Responsible to monitor and supervise 4 to 5 branches in his/her area
  • Give priority to verify new groups and new members in the branches

Customer Service:

  • Maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings by ensuring high-quality service and addressing customer complaints and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and retention.


Reporting and Analysis:

  • Preparing and presenting performance reports and analytics to senior management
  • Consolidate different reports needed from the branch and submit them on time
  • Reporting to immediate supervisor and evaluating the efficiency of the business within branches of her/his area and its operations.
  • Utilize data analysis to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Verify whether all committed expenses in the branches of his/her area are proper
  • Provide a report with recommendations to his supervisor regarding the staff discipline and performance

Education
