A limited number of Erasmus Mundus scholarships funded by the EACEA of the European Union are available and the closing date for scholarship applications is 15 February 2021.
We are also accepting applications from applicants who are able to self-fund their studies. The cost of tuition fees per academic year is €5000 for international/non-EU students and €2500 for EU/UK students.

Certified translations
If any of your documents (e.g. official degree certificate, transcript or professional reference) were not issued in English, then you will need to provide a certified translation that is verified by your university, an official translator, embassy or lawyer. This translation may be checked by the EMJMD ACES+ admissions team. Misleading translations can lead to the rejection of otherwise eligible and complete applications.
In order to promote friendship and understanding between people in China and abroad, and develop communication and cooperation in aspects of politics, economics, culture, and education, the Chinese government has created a ChineseGovernment Scholarship in order to support excellent students, teachers, and scholars and encourage them to study in China. Northeast AgriculturalUniversity is one of the universities which are responsible for educating Chinese Government Scholarship students. 2) Highest diploma(notarized photocopy). If applicants are university students, they shallprovide pre-graduation certificates. Documents in languages other than Chineseor English must be included with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
3) Applicants forgraduate studies are required to provide undergraduate transcripts. Applicantsfor doctoral studies need to provide undergraduate transcripts and graduatetranscripts. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be includedwith notarized translations in Chinese or English.
4) A study orresearch plan in Chinese or in English (no less than 800 words).
5) Applicantsmust submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professorsor associate professors.
10) Photocopy ofForeigner Physical Examination Form filled in English. The medical examinationsresults are valid for 6 months. All applicants are kindly requested to takethis factor into consideration while determining the time to take this medicalexamination.

The lessons will be taught in Chinese. Students whose HSKdoesn’t meet the requirement need to take Chinese language courses for one yearbefore they begin their major study. The duration of Scholarship will belengthened by one additional year for the students who need to learn Chinese.
The doctoral classes of Horticulture may be taught in Chineseor English. For English-taught applicants whose native language or linguafranca is not English, they should submit an English-proficiency score, a scoreof at least 80 on the TOEFL Internet-based exam or 5.5 on the IELTS.
5. Details of the Scholarship
Full scholarship:
1) Exempt from registration fee, tuition fee, andfee for accommodation on campus;
2) Fee for Comprehensive Medical Insuranceand Benefit Plan for International Students in China.
3) Monthly living allowance is paid to thestudents by the host institution at the following rates (CNY Yuan per month):
Master degree students: CNY 3,000 Yuan
Doctoral degree students: CNY 3,500 Yuan
4) NEAU provides free accommodation for Chinese GovernmentScholarship students. One doctoral student or master student shall live in oneroom.
NOTES:
1) Costs of the laboratory experiments or internship whichgo beyond the university’s arrangements will be the responsibility of thestudent.
2) Scholarship students shall get their monthly livingallowance from the date of registration. Chinese Government Scholarship students who enjoy monthly livingallowance should register at International StudentsOffice within a month notice, to ensure theywill receive their living allowance.
3) The new students who register before the 15th (15th included) of theregistration month will enjoy the whole amount of living allowance of thatmonth; those who register after the 15th will get half a month. Graduates willget the living allowances till 15 days after the graduation date set by NEAU.The scholarship will be terminated the month after students suspend theirstudies, quit or graduate from NEAU.
4）Scholarship students who have tosuspend their education due to illness should return to their home country forfurther treatment and rest. The international travel expenses of returning andcoming back should be paid by the recipient. The students, who are allowed bythe school authority to suspend their education, can retain their scholarship.The scholarship status will be reserved one year at the most; however, themonthly living allowance will be stopped during the suspension of education.The scholarship for students who suspend their education for reasons other thanillness will be terminated.
5) Comprehensive Medical Insurance and Benefit Planfor International Students in China are provided by MOE for the scholarshipstudents in China in case of hospitalizing for serious diseases and accidentalinjuries.
6) The scholarship is mainly supporting studenthim/herself; if the student consider bringing his/her family members, he/sheneeds to afford the cost of living for family members
6. Approval and Notification
1) NEAU will review all the application materials andNEAU is authorized to make necessary adjustments on the specialties andduration of study.
2) NEAU can decide student’scategory and admission standard of international students who apply for themaster or doctor education. If prior Chinese study or other preparatoryeducation is needed, students should pass related examinations duringprior education period; otherwise he will not be allowed to start major study.
3) Applicants are encouraged to contact thedepartments and supervisors before applying andenclose the relevant admission or recommendation letter if need be. (referto the appendix: Chinese Government Scholarship Degree Programs).
4) Scholarship applicants accepted by NEAU of highereducation will be officially awarded the Chinese Government Scholarship withendorsement from CSC and submitted to MOEC for the record.
5) Students are not permitted, in principle, to changetheir specialties, institutions, or the duration of studyspecified in the Admission Notice after registration.
6) Students are not permitted to transfer to anotherschool after registration.
7) NEAU will send the Admission Notice and VisaApplication Form for Study in China (JW201) to relevant students orrelevant universities by August 15, so as to have these documents forwarded tothe awards.
8) New Chinese Government Scholarship students shouldregister before the deadline. Anyone who is unable to register on time should submitjustification and provide proof as well as seek permission from the InternationalStudents Office of International Cultural and Educational College. Otherwise, heor she will voluntarily give up the scholarship after two weeks.

8.Others
1) Once any cheating or concealing act isfound in the application procedure, the application will be refused immediatelyand the scholarship qualification will be taken back as well. The cheatingaction will be reported to China Scholarship Council and Chinese Ministry ofEducation as records.
2) The accepted students should take partin the annual review in accordance with the Measures For the Annual Review ofChinese Government Scholarship Status. Every year Mälardalen University offers a limited number of scholarships to students applying for a Master’s programme with us as their first choice.
The scholarship will cover 100% of the tuition fee of the programme as long as you follow the normal study plan (minimum 22.5 credits/semester, minimum 45 credits/academic year). The scholarship does not cover living expenses. If your status from being a fee-paying student to a non-paying student is changed during the study period of the programme you will no longer be granted the scholarship.

Benefits
The basic allowance of 1150 EUR per month covers the cost of meals, transport, personal expensesand accommodation. It is the responsibility of the Flemish host university to arrange accommodation for master scholars (e.g. ICP). In some cases the scholars have to pay for their accommodation from their scholarship themselves. In other cases the accommodation cost will be paid directly by the university and will thus be deducted from the monthly allowance. In that case the university should inform the scholars about these practical arrangements in advance. Priority should be given to university residences.
Indirect travel costs. This allowance covers:
Medical expenses for obtaining a doctor’s certificate (including costs for obligatory vaccinations and necessary medication);
Legalisation of documents;
Transportation to and from the embassy and/or airport in the home country and Belgium (remark: national flights as part of itinerary from or to Belgium are of course paid separately
Visa application fee (in non-Belgian embassies), handling fees (for example from Visa Facilitation Services (VFS)) or mailing costs for couriers.
For obtaining the visa15 or for legalisation of documents, additional costs can be reimbursed if the scholar’s residence is situated far from the embassy/diplomatic post:
If the responsible diplomatic post is not located in the country of residence of the scholar and he/she is obliged to travel to another country;
If visiting the diplomatic post requires an overnight stay.
In this case, the following costs can be reimbursed, if approved and upon submission of original receipts to the Flemish host university:
the most economical national or international itinerary (airplane or bus or …, 1 economy ticket)
for South programmes a per diem of maximum 25 EUR per day OR the local per diem as agreed on and accommodation costs up to a maximum of 50 EUR per night for up to maximum 10 days (only if a stay is required by the embassy).
for ITP/ICP scholars a per diem of maximum 20 EUR per day and accommodation costs up to a maximum of 50 EUR per night for up to maximum 10 days (only if a stay is required by the embassy).
Logistical allowance: The logistical allowance is to be used to cover among other things
all kinds of general expenses related to living in Belgium incurred by the scholar at the start of the scholarship (e.g. cooking materials, household utensils, …);
all expenses for educational materials and study-related personal costs incurred by the scholar (paper, pens, manuals, courses, computer, storage media, etc);
all expenses for thesis printing and mailing/shipping teaching materials (manuals, courses,
computer, etc.) back to the home country.
The allowance is a one-time payment and can be paid at the beginning of the programme.
It is possible for South programmes (such as IUC) to decide not to (fully) grant this allowance to the individual scholar, but to invest the (rest of the) allowance into the programme, on the condition that this policy is mentioned in the management manual of the programme, duly approved by VLIR-UOS and communicated to the involved parties, including scholars.
Programme related travel costs
Costs for traveling between Flemish campuses in different cities will be reimbursed only if they take place in the framework of an official interuniversity master programme organised by different Flemish universities and as recognized by VLIR-UOS, and only for transportation costs between the cities of the Flemish universities that are part of the interuniversity project. The following ICP programmes are officially labelled as interuniversity programmes: Master of Science in Food Technology (KU Leuven and UGent), Master of Science in Water Resources Engineering (KU Leuven and VUB), Master of Science in Marine and Lacustrine Science and Management (VUB, UA and UGent).
The most economical transportation formula must be chosen (e.g. season ticket; bus or train, or …) and proof needs to be submitted by the scholar. The host institution is responsible for supporting the scholar finding the most economical formula

Applications call for IARC Postdoctoral Fellowships 2021–2023. Over more than 50 years, the IARC Fellowship Programme has trained more than 600 rigorously selected early-career scientists from more than 80 countries. Since 2005, IARC Postdoctoral Fellowships have been tenable only at the Agency. For this call, only early-career scientists from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) are eligible to apply.

Fellowship
The current IARC Postdoctoral Fellowships stipend is €2,820 per month.
The cost of travel for the successful candidate and in certain circumstances for dependants will be met, a dependant’s allowance and a training allowance paid, and health insurance covered, within IARC’s maximum liability.
Depending on certain conditions, Fellows from LMIC countries will be able to apply for an IARC return grant of max €10,000 during the second year of their Fellowship in order to start up an independent research programme linked to IARC’s activities upon return to their LMI country of origin.
All candidates are required to have finished their doctoral degree within five years of the closing date for application or must be in the final year of their doctoral degree (their degree must have been awarded by the time of starting their Fellowship).
Candidates with an MD are also eligible to apply on the condition that their research experience can be considered equivalent to that of a candidate with a doctoral degree.
The working languages at IARC are English and French. Candidates must be proficient in English at a level sufficient for scientific communication.
Candidates currently at IARC as fully-funded postdoctoral scientists, or candidates who have been at the Agency as a postdoctoral scientist or a doctoral student for a period greater than six months, cannot be considered.

Benefits of Fully Funded Scholarships in Bradford
Successful candidates get a studentship that covers full Home tuition fees, pays a monthly stipend at UKRI rates (£15,285 per year in 2020/21). Also, a Research Training Support Grant of £2000 to cover expenses, including travel and fieldwork.
