Job Description

1. Maintain and implement laboratory management systems of mass and balance Laboratory according to ISO/IEC 17025 2017
2. Propose mass laboratory annual action plan and submit to direct supervisor
3. Prepare mass laboratory weekly activities pal and submit it to direct supervisor
4. Carry out mass and balance laboratory duties according to the action plan
5. Perform calibration or verification of weighing instruments of customers
6. Draft calibration methods and techniques based on principles of measurement science, technical analysis of measurement problems, and accuracy and precision requirements and submit to direct supervision for review and approval
7. Prepare and keep up to date mass laboratory inventory
8. Redesigns or adjusts measurement capability to minimize errors in mass and balance laboratories
9. To conduct markets survey for mass laboratory scope upgrade
10. Prepare draft calibration/Verification certificates, Survey reports and keep records of raw data
11. Prepare and submit the progress reports of performed laboratory activity or any other assigned duty
12. Perform corrective actions to address identified non-conforming work in mass laboratory
13. Ensure the maintenance plan of mass laboratory standards/equipment are implemented
14. Ensure the mass reference and working standards are handled and kept according to the international standards requirement
15. Ensure the customer items are handled and kept according to the procedure in place
16. Maintain the laboratory in a tidy and organised manner at all times.
17. Perform any other organization related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the direct supervisor and any other duly authorised person.
