JOB ADVERT – Marketing Officer
Summary: Soft Packaging Ltd is seeking to recruit an experienced and competent individual at the position of Marketing Officer to join our operational team.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Managing customer calls and appointments effectively (for existing customers) and calling potential customers to explain the company products and encourage purchases.
- Develop periodic market analysis to identify customer needs, and recommend changes to marketing strategy based on analysis
- Handling Customers complaints and inform directly the management on the progress
- Recording all marketing activities and implement metrics to evaluate their success
- Create, develop and maintain customer research databases.
- Analyzing competitors’ products and offerings to identify opportunities for promotion and growth.
- Coordinating the process of samples production and their approval by customers
- Communicating with clients about layout and design needs (designing style, format, size, etc)
- Communicates any changes in the order or delivery date to relevant parties
Qualifications
- Graduate in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related fields
- At least 2 years experience in the manufacturing industry. Having experience in managing operations will be an advantage
- Proven experience in negotiation and building relationships with customers
- Ability to work extremely well under pressure
- Computer skills and reporting experience
