Job responsibilities
-To receive bodies of deceased patients and prepare them for burial -To release bodies to relatives of the deceased -To plan, direct, and coordinate the services and resources to bury abandoned bodies; -To compose announcements for abandoned bodies -To offer counsel and comfort to families and friends of the deceased -To explain goals, policies, and procedures to staff members of mortuary -To respond to customer complaints, legal inquiries, payment negotiations, or other post-service matters. -To direct and supervise the work of embalmers, funeral attendants, death certificates, cosmetologists, or other staff -To manage the resources allocated to the mortuary -To manage the mortuary archives -Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the supervisor -Perform other related duties as required. N.B: For Mental Health qualification , Mental Health Nurses are only eligible.
