Job Description
1. Drafting laws in compliance with national, regional and international legislation and agreements (OIML guide lines, WTO TBT and SPS agreements)
2. Enforce activities related to weights and measures as per the law governing metrology in Rwanda and other applicable laws and regulations
3. Ensure uniformity in implementing penalties as per the law governing metrology in Rwanda and related procedures
4. Follow up the implementation of decision taken for non-complying measuring instruments or pre-packaged commodities under legal metrology control
5. Provide legal advice on identified cases related to metrological controls and law enforcement
6. Initiate and following up prosecution cases related to the law governing metrology in Rwanda
7. Draft license contract and follow up its implementation
8. Operate in compliance with organizational regulation and rules
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Law
0 Year of relevant experience
