Reporting channel: reports to the SPIU Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Act as the legal advisor to the RTDA and coordinate the legal activities of the Institution;
• Ensure the legally appropriate performance of the RTDA’s work;
• Prepare and review legal instruments, including contract agreements and internal regulations to provide legal interpretations and advice of these instruments and regulations;
• Coordinate and manage the provision of effective legal services by ensuring that it complies with relevant statutes and regulations of Rwanda.
• Anticipate and guard against legal risks likely to be faced by the RTDA;
• Develop and recommend RTDA policy and position on legal issues;
• Prepare and Represent the RTDA in legal proceedings;
• Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by the SPIUC/ RTDA Management
Minimum Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Law
3 Years of relevant experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Law
5 Years of relevant experience
