For private candidates, appeal for identification correction or marks is done by the candidate him/herself via the public portal found here below:
1. Go to www.sdms.gov.rw
2. Click on national exam services
3. Click on Make Appeal
4. Fill in the provided appeal form
5. Submit
For school candidates (Attendant Candidates), appeal for Identification Correction is done by the candidate him/herself via the public portal found here below:

5. Submit
Appeal for Marks is done by the school headteacher:
1. Go to www.sdms.gov.rw
2. Log in into your account
3. Go to national Examinations
4. Click on make appeal
5. Fill in the provided appeal form
6. Choose the subject in question
7. Submit
