Job description
1.To provide technical support to lecturers/Assistant lecturers /instructors and students
• Assess the range and volume of work to be undertaken for the day or days ahead and plan accordingly
• Implement received instructions and seek advice where necessary from lecturers/Assistant lecturers /instructors
• To prepare tools and materials as required.
2. To maintain a work environment
• Maintain tools so that they are ready for use
• Carry out equipment service
• Ensure that the laboratory/work environment is maintained to the standard required to deliver the appropriate level of training
Adhere to basic health and safety procedures affecting self and others
3. To Keep laboratory records
• Carry out record-keeping, filing, and reporting
• Requesting the materials, tools, and equipment from logistics.
• To issue the equipment, tools, and materials to the students and keep records.
• To assist in the ordering of equipment and consumables and maintain records of assets.
4. To participate in IPRC activities
• Carrying out duties requiring competence such as participating in consultancy services.
• Contributing to issues that are useful to the development of IPRC facilities.
Participate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to obtain information useful to the IPRC facilities.

1.Install, operate and maintain the hydraulic and pneumatic systems
2.Install, maintain and troubleshoot industrial electric Motors
3.Design build and maintain electronic controller circuits
4.Perform networking for industry
5.Perform Industrial instrumentation and calibration
6.Operate Conventional Machine Tools
Minimum Qualifications

Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
3 Years of relevant experience
