Job profile
Master of science in Forestry with one of the following specialization Forest resources management, Forest Resources Assessment and Management, Forest protection, Forest economics, Sustainable Tropical Forestry, Forest and nature conservation. ?Considerable experience of at least 2 years’ experience in forestry industries dealing with seed stands management, seed processing, seedlings production, forest establishment, syliviculture treatment, forest protection, forest economics, forest land scape development and management; and forest harvesting operations. ?Fluent in English and/ or French; knowledge of all is an advantage

3. WORKSHOP ASSISTANT IN WOOD TECHNOLOGY
Job Description
? A2 or Diploma in carpentry/Wood Technology
? Having at least 2 years’ experience as a joiner, working with hand tools, power tools and common woodworking machinery. Work from CAD drawings to manufacture item
? Ability to communicate effectively
? Having competence in IT skills and Internet usage
? Maintain inventory of wood workshop supplies and making requests
? Assist students and lecturers to perform the necessary tasks while working in wood workshop
? To supervise and maintain all equipment in the workshop to relevant standards, including potentially hazardous equipment.
? Provide professional and technical advice to her/his supervisor
? Perform all other tasks assigned by her/his supervisors
