• To lead the translation of the ICT sector strategy plans into thoughtful and innovative talent management plans and objectives and to champion a culture of continuous learning, growth mindset and knowledge sharing.
• To facilitate, develop and coordinate training programs tailored to sector digital transformation vision and employee skill gaps.
• To create effective training programs designed using best practices and customized for key groups like team leaders, middle managers, technical staff including new hires to improve the managerial and core business skills needed to enhance institution productivity;
• To Manage all aspects of training, including creation and supervision of ongoing training programs, and development of future training programs
• To developing and implementing all training assessment and evaluation tools
• To evaluate training programs and processes for their overall effectiveness
• To identify and report training metrics
• To provide advice on policy gaps affecting digital skills and develop policy recommendations to close identified gaps;
• To analyze current and future digital skill trends, future talent and kill set required for digitization, capacity gaps across targeted groups to inform strategy for digital skill and talent development and mobilization of resources;
• To work closely with local educational institutions to match education programs with training needs of digitization and other skill set needed by the labor market to enable smooth transition of graduates into the labor market.
• Research new technologies trends and present plans for capacity building.
