Job responsibilities
- Oversee the entire finance and operations daily functions to ensure efficiency
- Interpreting FinTech financials to Finance department for accounting and reporting purposes.
- Manage FinTech operations team to ensure SLAs for all tasks are accorded with and that operations provides sustainable value and competitive advantage.
- Ensure Balance movement of major Non-Banking SP accounts and report any anomalies to RA For investigations
- Ensure the Daily Preparation and monitoring of FinTech Revenue Report are timely done.
- Ensure the Daily Preparation and monitoring of Subscriber report are timely done.
- Provide support to Finance operations GSM Regarding MFS supplier payments.
- Review and approve all invoices before payment
- Oversee month end Financial reporting and consolidation
- Coordinate with Fintech products, Retail, and corporate business to record all revenue generated and minimize revenue leakages.
- Oversee the timely computation and payment of all commissions to agents and Franchisees in accordance with approved policy and procedures.
- Monthly reconciliation of interest accounts and any MTN pre-funded accounts held with partners
- Ensure Reconciliation of system balances pre and post implementation of any major updates, changes etc. on the ECW system
- Identification, assessment and reporting of business risks through Fintech transactions in MTN Rwanda, in collaboration with Manager, Fintech Risk AML and Compliance.
- Coordinate the effective use of the Agent Float management account and perform Reconciliations
- Providing and interpreting Fintech financials for accounting and reporting purposes.
- Monitoring and interpreting Fintech cash flows and predicting future trends.
- Develops & Monitors financial management control mechanisms that minimises financial risk.
- Ensure timely effective Fintech monitoring and reporting on performance of systems.
- Provides overall financial Management for Fintech business.
- Responsible for implementing all audit recommendations.
- Providing and interpreting Fintech financials to Finance department for accounting and reporting purposes.
- Identify ways to improve processes and procedures where there have been deficiencies recognized to eliminate any operational inefficiencies
Job requirements
- Accounting or equivalent qualification– ACCA/CIMA/ZICA
- MBA
- Three (3) years’ experience in finance operations

Job responsibilities
Overall responsibilities:
- Support in the monitoring of the MFS business planning
- Support MFS to conduct the business planning cycle
- Support the development of compiling business cases to facilitate strategic decision for developing MFS
- Provide intel and strategic input to develop and implement MFS
Operational and Tactical Meeting:
- participate in adhoc and operational meetings
- Participate and provide input into strategic meeting
- Prepare department reports
Escalations
- Manage and resolve escalations that have impact on critical path of service delivery
- Escalate issues that will result in significant time, scope, employee/customer or cost impact if not resolved
- Manage and provide solutions to issues that require formal resolution
Opco Operational:
- Develop MFS reporting template and support OpCo to implement
- Support OpCo to have proper reports and handle compiling data analytics
- Support Opco to improve data analytics competences
Reporting:
Develop a group wide data mining framework for MFS business reporting
- Support the monthly, weekly, daily reporting cycle
- Design new data collection models to better collect information
- Coordinate with technology team to support the delivery of daily and weekly reports
- Coordinate with partners/different data sources to collect key business data
Business planning and forecast:
- Support the Daily, Weekly & Monthly MoMo performance reports to drive commercial decisions
- Avail data that help in Collating and analysing Opco performance benchmarking results against targets and make recommendation to improve performance.
- Develop and track KPIs and dashboards
- Regularly review the MFS Business data for completeness, accuracy, and robustness
- Source and integrate relevant external data to create new insight
Data mining and organization:
- Gather, prepare, integrate, and share updated data that support Business intelligence and best practices
- Mine data extensively to uncover new trends and shifts in consumer attitudes
- Ensure the robustness of MoMo reporting systems and business rules
develop, and implement data warehouse systems for BI reporting and analysis.
- Develop new KPIs Dashboards or other up to date tools to better track performance
- Leverage international best practices and adapt to suit MTN environment
Job Requirements
- A degree in Statistics, Finance, and business-related discipline
- Minimum of 4 years tertiary qualification / Masters advantageous
- Fluent in English and language of country preferable
- Manager track record of 2 years or more; with at least 3 years in relevant sector/ industry
