SeaTech Rwanda ltd was registered and established in Rwanda in 2020 as a subsidiary of Sea Tech Marine Construction based Haifa – Israel. A company that specializes in oil and gas construction works, plant desalination, underwater pipe installation and repairs, salvage and recovery, reservoir cleaning and operating ROVs, underwater welding and cutting, ship construction and repairs.

Seatech is certified in oil and gas industry by the Association of Diving Contractors International [ADCI] and we use Commercial divers using surface supplied diving. Job Tittle: HSSQ Manager

Reports to: CEO/Project Manager

Location: Site Based.

Required Number: 1

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support initiatives to improve HSSEQ performance and assist in addressing areas of poor performance.
  • Promptly alert line and functional management to significant incidents, their outcomes, and remedial actions.
  • Participate in reviewing incident management and investigations to ensure that the organisation produces HSEQ reports and investigation and implements and reviews lessons learnt to support continuous improvement.
  • Check that Quality Arrangements are in place and actively managed.
  • Conduct Audit
  • Support the internal audit schedule and ensure that it is followed.
  • Confirm that findings and corrective/preventive actions are dealt with in an effective and timely manner.
  • Management Reviews
  • Support the Management Review process and they are recorded and follow up actions are carried out.
  • Non‑Conformances, Corrective/Preventive Actions and Customer Complaints
  • Ensure that all are dealt with in an effective and timely manner. Ensure that areas that are identified as requiring preventive input are actioned.
  • External Audit
  • Support HSSEQ Meetings.
  • Schedule and prepare agendas for all mandatory organisational meetings and ensure any areas identified for action are tracked and closed out expeditiously.
  • Perform site visits/inspections as required.
  • Ensure that the personal competencies in HSSEQ are maintained and developed.


Requirements

  • Must have at least 5 years’ experience in large scale oil and gas projects, be familiar with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Must have at least a bachelor’s degree in occupational health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field of study.
  • Must have an international recognized certificates such as NEBOSH / OSHAS 18001.
