ADHI Rwanda Ltd is a newly established company in Rwanda involved in various projects including the construction of a housing development, TVET academies, and factories.
We are looking to hire a Human Resources Coordinator who will be responsible for facilitating all key HR functions and programs. This includes issues raised by current and future employees and matters related to employment, compensation and benefits, labour negotiations, and employee relations.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the recruitment and interview processes
- Update and keep employee records in check
- Maintain a good record of employee attendance per shift
- Manage employee’s timesheet and liaise with finance team for salaries
- Answering employee requests and questions
- Coordinate and delegate the task to the appropriate person of the team
- Help supervisors in assessing employee engagement and evaluation
- Responsible for analysing training needs, developing training curriculum, and delivering training courses
- Administering various employee benefits programs, such as group insurance, long-term disability, pensions, and profit sharing
- Maintain the HR team’s calendar (schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc.)
- Create and submit reports to senior management
- Formulating methods to improve employment policies, processes and practices as well as recommending changes to management.
- Set up and keep up to date all HR procedures and management plans to effectively manage the company affairs
Required skills and qualifications
- BA/MA in Business Administration/Human resources management or similar relevant field
- Any additional training and certification in Human Resource Management will be considered an advantage
- 6+ years of HR competence and knowledge of HR process and computer programs
- Proven experience as HR coordinator
- In-depth knowledge of human resources operations and best practices
- Hands on experience in using MS Office, databases, HR software and HRIS systems
- Good organizational, multitasking, prioritization, and effective time management skills
- Outstanding communication (Both oral and written), presentation and interpersonal skills.
