Education Officer
World Vision is a child-focused Christian humanitarian organization implementing development programs in 30 Districts of Rwanda. Our interventions in the strategic period of 2021-2025 seek to reach 2 million of the most vulnerable children. This is done through programming in Resilience and Livelihoods, WASH and Health, Child Protection, and Education.
World Vision Rwanda seeks to hire a qualified, dedicated, and experienced Rwandan national for the role of Education Officer, joining an established and experienced team. This position will be based in Nkamira transit center-Rubavu District and reports to the Education in Emergency Manager(HO).
Purpose of the position:
The purpose of the post is to effectively take the lead in the implementation of Education project interventions within the Nkamira transit center. The candidate will lead in the provision of education support to ECD, primary and secondary school students, distribute scholastic materials, as well as ensuring that all issues relating to the education of school-age refugee children in the camp are timely responded to and reported to the Education in Emergency Manager(HO).He/She will also include providing accurate data relating to the numbers of children attending School, children with special needs, and school feeding as well as the numbers of children dropping out of school both in primary and secondary schools within and outside the Camp.

Salary:
