Job responsibilities
Key duties and responsibilities Promote the development of e-mobility policies; Promote the development of e-buses in the City of Kigali Develop standards for e-vehicles and charging facilities; • Follow up with all related to the implementation of e- mobility initiatives, • Work with governments, public transport authorities, and other bodies to collect, process, and analyze transport data; • Identify e-mobility facilities development needs across the City of Kigali and carry out a financial implication analysis in this regard and advise the institution accordingly; • Identify, review and approve initiatives related to Non-Motorised Transport. • Analyze and recommend priority intervention plans for e- mobility across the City of Kigali; • Carry out or review pre- feasibility, feasibility plans for development of e-mobility facilities Across the City; • Supervise all works of developing e-mobility facilities falling under responsibility of the City of Kigali and produce periodical reports thereof; • Gather information on international best practices in e-mobility and apply lessons learned locally; • Represent COK in e-mobility related meetings with government partners, civil society and NGO partners; • Other duties as assigned. • Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
