Job Description
Research and analyze impact of the current as well as evolving ICT trends in various sectors and establish collaboration and partnerships frameworks leading to the sector’s digital transformation.
• Establish IT policies, strategies, guidelines and standards needed for the sector digital transformation.
• Develop the ICT capabilities in the various sectors to help them improve service delivery by conducting periodic IT assessment/Audit and develop annual digital profiles.
• Conduct regular assessments of ongoing ICT projects in sectors, and ensure regular coordination meetings (technical working groups) with the stakeholders.
• Ensure that accurate documentation of all Policies, procedures, guidelines is maintained and align with sector ICT leadership on ICT priorities, increase IT capabilities and teams’ motivation through personnel coaching and growth;
• In cooperation with relevant stakeholders ensure that evaluation of ICT sector strategies are conducted in a timely and efficient manner highlighting achievements and unmet objectives with recommendations.
• Ensure all sector project activities planned for implementation have clear allocated budgets, precise terms of reference and are in line with the national digitalization agenda.
• Initiate and support strategic planning in the sectors for coordinated sector services and business automation to create business value through technology and develop models to estimate impact of ICT on the economy (GDP).
• Coordinate the sectors focal teams from other divisions within RISA to harmonize support and oversee the development of system and platforms to improve government processes/services by facilitating and creating RISA internal sector technical groups for proper coordinated interventions.
