MEET OUR SCHOLARSHIPS HELPERS HERE (WHAT’S UP)

As an international student, you are eligible to be considered for Davenport’s Merit-Based scholarships. Our scholarships are based on academic performance and will be automatically applied to tuition costs.

Apply for the Foundation Scholarship – awards vary.

Housing Scholarships (Grand Rapids campus only) are also available for up to $1,000 for the year, to be used towards on-campus residence. Please complete the Housing Scholarship form and return it to our Financial Aid Department or your Admissions representative.

Undergraduate Scholarships

 

University Presidents Scholarship

Maximum Annual Award: $12,500

High School Student Qualification:
Minimum 3.90 overall GPA OR
Minimum 30 ACT and 3.5 overall GPA OR
Minimum 1400 SAT and 3.5 overall GPA
*Must have graduated high school within 2 years of start date, with no prior college or University credit*

 

Titanium

Maximum Annual Award: $6000

High School Student Qualification:
Minimum 3.75 overall GPA OR
Minimum 28 ACT and 3.0 overall GPA OR
Minimum 1320 SAT and 3.0 overall GPA

Transfer Student Qualification: 
Transfer in a minimum of 15 college-level credits and have a minimum 3.75 GPA from transferring institution.

Platinum

Maximum Annual Award: $4000

High School Student Qualification:
Minimum 3.50 overall GPA OR
Minimum 23 ACT and 3.0 overall GPA OR
Minimum 1140 SAT and 3.0 overall GPA

Transfer Student Qualification: 
Transfer in a minimum of 15 college-level credits and have a minimum 3.50 GPA from transferring institution.

Gold

Maximum Annual Award: $3000

High School Student Qualification:
Minimum 3.20 overall GPA OR
Minimum 21 ACT and 3.0 overall GPA OR
Minimum 1070 SAT and 3.0 overall GPA

Transfer Student Qualification: 
Transfer in a minimum of 15 college-level credits and have a minimum 3.20 GPA from transferring institution.

Silver 

Maximum Annual Award: $2000

High School Student Qualification:
Minimum 2.80 overall GPA OR
Minimum 21 ACT and 2.0 overall GPA OR
Minimum 1070 SAT and 2.0 overall GPA

Transfer Student Qualification: 
Transfer in a minimum of 15 college-level credits and have a minimum 2.80 GPA from transferring institution.

Graduate Scholarships

Medallion

Maximum Annual Award: $2000

Qualifications:
Minimum 3.80 Cumulative GPA from a Bachelor’s Degree Program

Scholars

Maximum Annual Award: $1500

Qualifications:
Minimum 3.50 Cumulative GPA from a Bachelor’s Degree Program

Graduate

Maximum Annual Award: $1000

Qualifications:
Minimum 3.00 Cumulative GPA from a Bachelor’s Degree Program

**Scholarships are dependent upon full-time enrollment and will be pro-rated for half-time enrollment. All scholarships are renewable for up to 4 years or upon degree completion, whichever is first. Students who earn a Merit-based scholarship must uphold the academic standards associated with the scholarship.
