Job Description
Report to the Crop Processing and Food Quality Management Program Coordinator and has the following responsibilities:
– To implement field trials/laboratory protocols to produce reliable and accurate data to support scientific investigations;
– To participate in data collection, analysis, interpretation and timely reporting of research results;
– To demonstrate the practices of procedures to students and visitors;
– To assisting researchers in their regular activities in scientific research
– Prepare quarterly and annual reports on research activities carried out;
– To liaise with extension service providers in conducting on-farm technology verification trial, demonstrations and technology/ innovation dissemination on Crop processing and Food
Quality Management;
– To train students, interns and new scientists on Crop processing techniques and practices and/or laboratory practices;
– Ensure that the institution has and maintains a good reputation;
– Perform any other duty as required by the competent authorities;’
