New finest traders Ltd(NFT) is an established company working in packaging with a vision of Triumphing over all layers of woven sack users in Rwanda, Great Lake Region and dig up a Portion for East Africa countries’ sack product.
In this regard, the company mission is to lead sack producer and marketer of sacks for agro-processing manufactures and other businesses that need woven sack packaging.
The company operates a plant in Kigali Special Economic Zone and has already developed core competencies in
- Offering high quality, a branded product whose image is recognizable among consumers;
- Creating a sense of community among consumers who purchase the products; and developing a reputation among retailers as a reliable manufacturer and delivering the requested number of products on schedule.
Currently the company is recruiting an experienced professional to fill the position of Corporate service Director and support the existing finance team to achieving company strategic objectives:

Education
Minimum: Masters degree in business management, project management. having or financial, project professional qualification is a plus.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years’ leading a company of non less than 100 staffs or in senior management of the manufacturing company. 1 year of experience in woven sacks will be an added advantage. at least 3 years working in Rwanda as a senior manager is a master and 1 year working with the international company whether full, part-time, consultant, or even as partner business. thus conduct the following specific task.
Administration service
-
- Being the first layer by supporting and co-ordinating business activities across the company,
- Design of current and future strategic and operational plans
- Bring discipline to the strategic decision-making process to manage the effective use of business resources.
- Supporting, developing, and implementing strategic plans in accordance with the companies mission and vision statements,
- Managing the administration function together with the in administrative manager.
- Manage all aspects of the HR, Production, and marketing of the factory and the facilities management assisted with concerned managers.
- Motivate and drive the teams and colleagues to achieve both the overall company targets and key performance objectives
- Regularly review the company’s talent management processes within the business areas, including performance management, resource planning, and succession planning with the Administration and Finance Manager and Senior Managers
- Determine staff levels and prepare motivations for the filling of vacancies to complement functional objectives and requirement.
- In conjunction with the in charge of Human resource management provide the day to day management of staf insight, including the interview process, appraisals, absence management, and any employee issues that may arise within the team
- Determine human resource requirements taking into consideration operational needs, skills scarcity, and retention capability
- Approve acting appointments within department, overtime, and leave as per delegated authority
- Responsible for analysing reports generated by the management department and bespoke data reporting for recommendation to the board
- Ensuring the office environment is comfortable, clean and meets employees’ needs.
- In conjuction with any other appointee of the chairperson or chairperson cochairing the Senior management team meetings on a monthly basis
- Ensure that the effective delegation of work, monitoring of workload, performance management, and priority management to ensure all activities and customer/client service levels are maintained.
- Be smart, positive, personable, and well-presented.
- Monitoring, measuring, and reporting on organisational development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales.
- Required to complete a monthly and quarterly performance management report
- Interact with State Departments or any other bodies where required and provide summary analysis for the benefit of the company.
Financial service
To ensure best practice operation and management of financial and accounting systems (in a timely and accurate manner) including but not limited to
- Financial budgeting and forecasting
- Cash and funds management,
- Taxation & statistical returns,
- Payroll, and regular analysis and reporting of result
- Prepare reports to the Board detailing the status of expenditure and availability of funds for current and short term interventions
- Ensure financial records are maintained to a standard to meet required audit standards and to assist auditor in completing annual and other specific audits
- Ensure processes are compliant with respective commercial and accounting standards and legislation especially:
- • IFRS
- • Rwanda company Act, and
EAC and Africa business protocals, Rwanda governement treaties related to business and territory tax legislation, etc
ICT services
Provide best practice management of NFT ICT infrastructure as delegated by the Executive Director or Chairpeson of the board of Director assisted with IC manager or officer including Network server and network operating systems and department softwares
Market, Production and technical service
- Support Marketing manager to manage the `NFT customer base and align action with relevant. Sales, Manufacturing, Research, Demand chain).
- Thoroughly understand the technical needs of the customers and provide service in such a way technical team comply with it align with factory procedure
- Ensure retain customers with successfully products.
- Set up strategies to retain customers relationships of all type of production and to facilitate short andlong term customer technical support.
- Provide technical support to customers with existing or new products (internal trails, analyses)
- Together with customers, determine and implement corrective actions to maintain and/or re-establish product performance.
- Organize, investigate, and document, and resolve production technical complaints in a timely manner
- Initiate, modify, manage, and monitor the implementation of new products and product rationalization
- in relevant segment, manage changes in portfolio and product specifications towards customers. Propose (tweak) products in agreement with Technical senior officer, in order to satisfy market and customer needs
- ensure that marketing department Collect, analyze, and identify opportunities/trends. Cover and benchmark competitor activities,
- Perform technology scouting in relevant segments. Attend industry wide meetings to broaden and expand technical maintenance need benchmarket
- Ensure the quantities to be produced are within specification and in quantities required per machines target, clients segment target
- Ensure drop dawn of machine is reduced with lower cost of maintenance
General service
- Undertake alternate tasks as may be required from time to time to a professional standard and the board of director
- Provide assistance to other managers and employees as may be reasonably required
- Active involvement in quality and continuous improvements, and always seek best practice in fulfilling your role.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of skills and tasks through ongoing education
- To undertake strategic developments using structured project management tools and processes
Undertake meetings between marketing department and production to mitigate issues and harmonize marketing treinds and target of the factory
