Job Description

– As the Logistics/Maintenance Officer, you are responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of the institution/RBC, and managing daily operations of the equipment, infrastructure and vehicles as well. You will also develop processes that will maximize safety and quality related to service delivery.
– Follow up on different contracts of maintenance and repairs of RBC equipment (Generators, electrical and electronic equipment, plumbing)
– Develop technical specifications to facilitate the tenders related to maintenance and repairs of equipment (Generators ,electrical and electronic equipment, plumbing ) and vehicle.
– Participate in the establishment of policies, Strategies and Action Plan for the RBC Logistics Function
– Participate in the proper management of the RBC internal resources under the logistics desk
– Conduct strategic planning, start-up, and inventory of equipment to be processed for repairs to operational level use and turn-in for deport repairs. Conduct fielding of new and reissued equipment.
– Participate in the forecasting, budgeting and related implementation of these logistical activities within RBC
– Prepare requests for Purchase Orders and requests for payment in relation with contracts under your management
– Make a close follow-up of the performances of contracts and carry out related performance evaluation
– Be part or lead the team carrying out assets and stock inventory of movable and non-movable assets and ensure their security
– Centralize needs, supplies and other materials for the better running of the RBC.
– Carry out a regular valuation of RBC assets
– Provide logistical support to RBC staff
– Ensure appropriate maintenance of RBC vehicles and the rationale use of fuel
– Assist in developing and reviewing existing metrics to for performance within the institution.
– Manage the movement of the equipment into and out of institution
– Applying and adapting complex analytical techniques and evaluation criteria to the measurement and improvement of logistics effectiveness.



Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

    3 Years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

    3 Years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Power Engineering

    3 Years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering

    3 Years of relevant experience
